Five Guys Florence is at Via Alamanni 2R, inside Firenze Santa Maria Novella station (50123 Firenze), and it is the only Five Guys in the city. Walk in from Via Alamanni, or straight off the concourse by platforms 1 and 2. Directories list it as open every day from 11 am to 10 pm; the phone number is +39 055 986 7819. Google reviewers give it about 3.4 out of 5. Their main grievance? The price. If you came looking for Ham Holy Burger in Florence, it has no restaurant here or anywhere in Tuscany, which is why this guide covers Five Guys instead. I checked every fact below on 25 October 2026.

Where is Five Guys in Florence?
Five Guys Florence sits inside Santa Maria Novella, the city’s main railway station, at Via Alamanni 2R. It is the only Five Guys within the city limits of Florence.
The restaurant takes up about 500 m² (roughly 5,400 sq ft) of what used to be a supermarket in the station, according to Firenze Dintorni and 055firenze. There are 60 seats, some of them on an upper floor. In May 2024, sole director Mario Laurenzana told Firenze Dintorni that this would remain the only Five Guys in Florence.
About the address: the “R” in 2R is not a typo. Florence numbers shops and restaurants (“rosso”, red) separately from homes, so Via Alamanni 2R and Via Alamanni 2 are different doors.

How to get to Five Guys from the Santa Maria Novella platforms
If you arrive by train, you never need to leave the station: one entrance opens onto the concourse beside platforms 1 and 2. The second entrance is on Via Alamanni, the street along the station’s west side.
- From the trains: head for platforms 1 and 2 and look for the concourse entrance, according to The Florentine and 055firenze.
- From the street: walk along Via Alamanni to number 2R.
- By tram: the Alamanni stop is right next to the restaurant, about 31 metres away according to intravel.net.
That double entrance is the real selling point. For anyone stuck near Florence station between two trains, few sit-down meals are quicker to reach. I have not timed the walk from the far platforms, though, so leave a margin if your connection is tight.

Five Guys Florence opening hours
Five Guys Florence is listed as open every day of the week, Sunday included, from 11 am to 10 pm. Three independent sources give the same hours: Restaurant Guru, intravel.net (updated 29 November 2025) and The Florentine (May 2024).
The official Five Guys Italy page for the restaurant shows no hours at all, and I could not find out whether they change on public holidays. Counting on a late dinner or a holiday lunch? Call +39 055 986 7819 or check Google Maps on the day.
Five Guys Florence menu: burgers, fries and milkshakes
Five Guys Florence serves the standard Five Guys Italy menu: burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches built to order, fresh-cut fries and customisable milkshakes. I found nothing on it exclusive to Florence or Tuscany.
- Burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches: the official page claims more than 250,000 possible combinations with the free toppings.
- Fries: classic or Cajun, cut by hand every day and fried in peanut oil, according to Ristorazione Moderna.
- Milkshakes: 1,000 possible combinations, says the official page. At opening, The Florentine listed salted caramel, peanut butter and bacon bits among the mix-ins.
- Drinks: two self-service Coca-Cola Freestyle machines at opening, according to The Florentine.
- Free peanuts: handed out while you wait, a brand promise repeated at opening.
The brand also promised fresh beef that is never frozen, from a kitchen with no freezer at all, as Ristorazione Moderna reported in April 2024.

Five Guys Florence prices: what a meal costs
Expect to spend roughly €10 to €20 per person at Five Guys Florence, the range Restaurant Guru gives. I could not find a current, dated price list for this restaurant, so I am not publishing item prices.
The only firm figure is old. In May 2024, two months after the opening, The Florentine gave €8.95 as the entry price, for the Little Hamburger. Treat it as a 2024 reference point, not today’s price. Third-party menu sites quote a regular Hamburger anywhere from €8.50 to €10.90. They cannot all be right.
For the real price, open the Via Alamanni menu on order.fiveguys.it before you go, or read the board at the counter.
Five Guys Florence reviews: what diners say
Five Guys Florence scores about 3.4/5 on Google from around 363 reviews and 2.4/5 on Tripadvisor from 17 reviews, according to Restaurant Guru. Diners praise the staff, the burgers and the location; they complain about the prices, the noise and the atmosphere.
intravel.net paints a similar picture: 3.3/5 from 257 reviews in its 29 November 2025 update. The Tripadvisor score rests on very few reviews, and Tripadvisor splits the restaurant across two duplicate listings, so give the Google figure more weight.
Five Guys Florence ratings: about 3.4/5 on Google from around 363 reviews, 3.3/5 on intravel.net from 257 reviews (November 2025 update) and 2.4/5 on Tripadvisor from 17 reviews. (Chart: Burger Breton, CC BY 4.0, data from Restaurant Guru (https://restaurantguru.com/Five-Guys-Florence-Florence) and intravel.net (https://intravel.net/florence/restaurants-cafes/five-guys-florence), checked 25 October 2026)
How I built this review summary
I did not eat here for this guide, and I do not give the restaurant a rating. The scores and review counts come from Restaurant Guru, which relays Google and Tripadvisor, and from intravel.net. I could not read Google or Tripadvisor directly, so the figures are those aggregators’ numbers as of 25 October 2026. I grouped the points reviewers raise again and again, and I quote no individual review.
What reviewers like
- Well-trained, attentive staff
- Burgers and fries they consider good quality
- The location, right by the trains
What reviewers criticise
- High prices for fast food
- Burgers that arrive soggy or lukewarm
- Loud music and a cold, impersonal dining room
- Milkshakes that disappoint
My take, drawn from the data rather than a meal: Five Guys Florence is a practical stop if you have a train to catch or a suitcase in tow. It is not a reason to come to Florence. A 3.4 on Google from more than 300 reviews is a weak score, and the complaints about soggy, lukewarm burgers worry me more than the ones about price. With a free evening, I would spend it elsewhere in the city.
Delivery and Click & Collect at Five Guys Florence
Five Guys Florence offers delivery, takeaway and Click & Collect, according to its official page. Online orders go through order.fiveguys.it.
The official page does not name its delivery partners, and I could not confirm which apps carry the restaurant. Search your usual app for “Five Guys Firenze” before assuming it delivers to your address.
Peanut allergy and vegetarian options
Peanut allergy warning: Five Guys fries in peanut oil and hands out free peanuts while you wait, according to Ristorazione Moderna. If you have a peanut allergy, speak to the staff before you order, and think twice before eating in.
I could not confirm the vegetarian items on the Italian menu, such as a veggie sandwich or grilled cheese. Check fiveguys.it/menu or ask at the counter.
Five Guys in Florence and Tuscany: a short history
Five Guys opened its Santa Maria Novella restaurant on 6 March 2024, according to 055firenze. Ristorazione Moderna counted it as the eighth Five Guys in Italy in April 2024; I could not confirm the current Italian total.
It was not the first in Tuscany. That was the Five Guys at I Gigli shopping centre in Campi Bisenzio, just outside Florence, which opened on Monday 22 January 2024, according to La Nazione. It sat on the first floor, in the “mercato centrale” area of the Corte Lunga. I could not confirm that it is still open in October 2026.
The chain itself started in 1986 in Arlington, Virginia, founded by Jerry and Janie Murrell and their sons. In May 2026 it counted 1,999 restaurants in 28 countries and territories. Read the full story in our Five Guys brand profile.

Is there a Ham Holy Burger in Florence?
No. As of 25 October 2026, Ham Holy Burger has no restaurant in Florence or elsewhere in Tuscany. Its official website lists four restaurants: Milano Brera (Via Palermo 15), Milano Marghera (Via Marghera 34), Settimo Torinese (Torino Outlet Village) and Serravalle (Serravalle Designer Outlet).
Ham Holy Burger is a 100% Italian chain built on Piedmontese Fassona beef from Slow Food farms, according to La Gazzetta del Gusto. Franco Manna and Pippo Montella took it over in 2020, as Scatti di Gusto reported. If Fassona beef is what you are after, our best burgers in Milan guide covers Ham Holy Burger. We found the same gap in Sicily, as our Burger King Palermo guide explains.

Five Guys is the convenient choice at the station, not the most Florentine one.
