About Burger Breton: who we are and why the name

Burger Breton is run by big burger lovers who share their passion. Meet the team and find out why the name: Brittany is everywhere around the world.

Burger Breton is a burger magazine made by big burger lovers who share their passion, in English, French and Spanish.

Who we are

We are a small team of burger fans. We cook burgers at home, hunt them down wherever we travel and probably talk about them a little too much over dinner. Burger Breton started from a simple idea: share all of it with people who love burgers as much as we do.

On the site, we publish three things:

Why “Burger Breton”?

The name Burger Breton has two explanations: the best burger is Breton, and Brittany shows up all over the world.

Because the best burger is Breton. It is a scientific fact, established by us with complete objectivity. A touch of salted butter, a buckwheat galette instead of a bun… Fine, we may not be entirely impartial.

Because Brittany is everywhere. Brittany is the Celtic region at the western tip of France, and its black-and-white flag, the Gwenn-ha-Du designed in 1923, turns up at festivals and stadiums around the world. Breton crêperies are open from Tokyo to New York. And the fest-noz, the Breton dance gathering, has been on the UNESCO list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2012. Like Brittany, the burger has traveled the whole world, and we go looking for it wherever it is.
