Gordon Ramsay Burger Busan: Menu, Prices, Rebrand

Yes, there is a Gordon Ramsay burger restaurant in Busan, but it no longer trades purely as Gordon Ramsay Burger. The branch opened on 29 June 2023 on B1 of Shinsegae Department Store Centum City, 35 Centum Nam-daero, Haeundae-gu. On 5 June 2025 it was rebranded Menu by Gordon Ramsay – Busan, a family-dining format at the same site that still serves burgers. On DiningCode, checked on 22 October 2026, burgers cost 17,000 to 24,000 KRW, and the restaurant opens at 10:30 every day.

Gordon Ramsay Burger Busan: key facts

Gordon Ramsay’s Busan restaurant is a mall restaurant on the basement floor of Shinsegae Centum City in Haeundae-gu. It runs under the chef’s brand; he does not cook there. Each fact below carries its source and the date I checked it.

Is it still Gordon Ramsay Burger, or Menu by Gordon Ramsay?

It is Menu by Gordon Ramsay – Busan now, and has been since 5 June 2025. Busan Ilbo and Money Today both reported the rebrand that day. It was the first restaurant of this family-dining brand in Korea, and it stayed on the same B1 site.

The old name hasn’t gone away online. When I checked on 22 October 2026, DiningCode still titled the listing ‘Gordon Ramsay Burger Centum City’. On Naver Map or Catch Table, search for both names.

The rebrand also changed the price. At the 2023 launch a burger averaged about 30,000 KRW. Today the cheapest one on the menu, the Crispy Chicken Burger, costs 17,000 KRW.

Timeline: Gordon Ramsay in Busan, 2023 to 2026

Gordon Ramsay’s Busan restaurant went from a premium burger launch in 2023 to a cheaper family-dining format in 2025. These are the dated milestones.

• 29 June 2023: Gordon Ramsay Burger opens at Shinsegae Centum City. It is the brand’s second Korean location, after Lotte World Mall in Seoul, and its first outside the capital (Korea Herald).
• 15 March 2024: the branch launches nine Busan-only items, with burgers at 19,000–22,000 KRW (Busan Ilbo, Stripes Korea).
• 15–17 March 2024: a launch pop-up runs at The Bay 101 in Haeundae. It gives away 50 free burgers on each of 16 and 17 March and caps sales at 300 burgers a day (Busan Ilbo).
• 5 June 2025: the outlet reopens as Menu by Gordon Ramsay – Busan (Busan Ilbo via Daum, Money Today).
• 2026: DiningCode lists the restaurant as open, with a menu that still includes burgers (DiningCode).

Menu and prices at Gordon Ramsay Burger Busan, 2023 vs 2024 vs 2026

A burger at Gordon Ramsay’s Busan restaurant now costs 17,000 to 24,000 KRW, down from about 30,000 KRW on average at the 2023 opening. The table tracks the main items across three menus.

One line doesn’t fit. Fish and chips launched at 21,000 KRW in June 2025, yet DiningCode lists it at 25,000 KRW in 2026. Either the price went up or the listing is wrong, so treat the 2026 column as indicative until you see the menu on site.

The 1966 Burger: Korea’s 140,000 KRW Gordon Ramsay burger

The 1966 Burger was a Korea-only burger priced at 140,000 KRW, the headline item when the brand launched in Korea in 2023. That was nearly five times the roughly 30,000 KRW average of the other burgers. It is not on the 2026 DiningCode menu, so I list it as historical.

The nine Busan-only items of March 2024

On 15 March 2024 the Centum City branch added nine items sold only in Busan. Five were burgers: the Classic Burger, Chicken Kiev Burger, Crispy Catch Burger, Pastrami Burger and Ultimate Truffle Burger. The other four were a Caesar Salad, a Shrimp Salad, a Chicken Basket and a Barbecue Block. I could not confirm that any of them is still served in 2026.

My take on the prices

On paper, the rebrand made this a fairer deal. In 2023, 30,000 KRW for a mall burger was hard to justify. At 17,000 to 24,000 KRW it sits closer to the rest of Busan. It is still a sit-down mall meal, though, and the Truffle Steak Burger costs twice as much as a burger at Cred’it Burger in Jeonpo. If I had one burger meal in Busan, I would take the bridge to Yeongdo for Burger Yo’s scallop patty. You won’t find that in Seoul.

Does Gordon Ramsay cook in Busan?

No. No source shows Gordon Ramsay cooking at the Busan restaurant or attending its opening. He is the brand’s chef-founder, not the chef on site. I found no published name for a head chef in Busan, and reports disagree on which company runs the outlet, so I name none here.

Where it is in Shinsegae Centum City and how to book

The restaurant is on B1 of Shinsegae Department Store Centum City, 35 Centum Nam-daero, Haeundae-gu, Busan. It took over the mall space that Johnny Rockets used to occupy.

Book through the Catch Table app or Naver Place, or simply walk in. The 300-burgers-a-day cap reported by Busan Ilbo applied only to the March 2024 pop-up at The Bay 101, not to the mall restaurant.

Gordon Ramsay Burger in Korea: Seoul and Busan

The official Gordon Ramsay Restaurants site now lists only one Korean Gordon Ramsay Burger: Seoul, at Lotte World Tower Mall B1, 300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu. It is open daily from 10:30 to 22:00, with last orders at 21:00 (Gordon Ramsay Restaurants). Busan has dropped off that page, which fits the 2025 switch to the Menu by Gordon Ramsay brand.

Best burger in Busan beyond Gordon Ramsay

For a cheaper or more local burger in Busan, two independent places came up again and again in my sources: Burger Yo in Yeongdo and Cred’it Burger in Jeonpo. Cred’it Burger costs roughly half of Gordon Ramsay’s prices, and Burger Yo about two thirds.

Burger Yo: seafood burgers in Yeongdo

Burger Yo is the Busan burger for seafood. Its main branch sits near Huinnyeoul Culture Village. Besides the Scallop Steak Burger, the menu has a Crab Burger with a 100% snow-crab patty at 16,900 KRW and a Beef Burger at 9,900 KRW (DiningCode, checked 22 October 2026).

Cred’it Burger: US beef in Jeonpo

Cred’it Burger is a small Jeonpo burger bar built on US chuck-eye roll beef graded Prime to Choice. Stripes Korea reviewed it on 26 January 2026, with burgers at 10,000 to 12,000 KRW.
