Mostaza Salta: Locations, Menu, Hours and Reviews (2026 Guide)
Where to find Argentina's own burger chain in Salta, which branch to pick, what to order and what diners actually say, checked on October 7, 2026.

Mostaza is Argentina’s home-grown burger chain, and in Salta you will find it in three confirmed spots: on the Alberdi pedestrian street in the historic center, inside Alto NOA Shopping, and at the AutoMostaza drive-thru at Av. Entre Ríos 1950, corner of Junín. If you are on foot, go to Alberdi: it is central and holds the best Google score of any Salta branch with a published rating. If you have a car, kids in tow or a late craving, the AutoMostaza is the better bet. Order from the Mega range. And check live hours on Google Maps before a late visit, because the advertised 24-hour weekend opening has not matched what customers found.

How I put this Mostaza Salta guide together
I built this guide from the chain’s official site, Salta’s local press and review aggregators, and I flag every figure I could not confirm from a primary source. I have not eaten at these branches for this piece, so you will find no tasting verdict here. Where I give an opinion, it is about which branch suits which trip, based on location, format and what thousands of diners report.
Ratings come from Restaurant Guru and Sluurpy, which pull Google data at dates they do not publish. Hours and street numbers contradict each other across listings, so I give the range rather than pick one. Phone numbers appear in only one aggregator each, so I left them out. All sources were consulted on October 7, 2026.
What is Mostaza? Argentina’s own burger chain
Mostaza is a 100% Argentine burger chain founded in 1998 and now the country’s second-largest fast-food chain, behind McDonald’s. Its first restaurant opened at Boulevard Shopping in Adrogué, in the southern suburbs of Greater Buenos Aires (Wikipedia; EnRetail).
The chain also serves Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia. It opened its 200th location in Junín, Buenos Aires province, in May 2025, and it employs more than 10,000 people under CEO Daniel Rossano (EnRetail). By July 2026 it counted 217 locations and a presence in all 23 Argentine provinces, which Gente de Salta describes as a first for a burger chain (Gente de Salta, July 21, 2026).

The brand slogan is “Nunca te achiques”, roughly “never back down”. Its iOS and Android app runs a loyalty program called MostaClub, along with bank-card promos (mostazaweb.com.ar).
Mostaza vs McDonald’s and Burger King in Salta
The main difference is ownership: Mostaza is Argentine, while McDonald’s (operated in Latin America by Arcos Dorados) and Burger King are international brands. All three compete in Salta. Burger King has a branch at Alto NOA Shopping, and Hosteltur reported the opening of a second McDonald’s in Salta province, an 800 m² restaurant (about 8,600 sq ft) with 270 seats (Hosteltur).
Nationally, Burger King ranks third behind McDonald’s and Mostaza, and in October 2025 its operator Alsea was reported to be looking to sell the Argentine business (BAE Negocios). For what Burger King is launching this year, see our 2026 Burger King Whopper news.
Mostaza Salta locations and addresses
Three Mostaza branches in Salta are confirmed by reliable sources: Alberdi, Alto NOA and the AutoMostaza on Entre Ríos. Other listed locations are unconfirmed, and I have not given a total count because the press figures disagree and I could not verify the official locations page.

Entre Ríos 1950 and Junín, a few blocks west along the same avenue (Map: © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL (embed 800x450 iframe))
Mostaza Alberdi: the downtown pick
Mostaza Alberdi sits on the Alberdi pedestrian street in Salta’s historic center and is the easiest branch to reach on foot from the main sights. The street number varies between listings (223, 242 or 252), so search “Mostaza Alberdi Salta” in your maps app rather than typing a number.
It is also the best-reviewed branch with a public score: 4.2/5 on Google, across 5,829 reviews per Sluurpy and 6,381 per Restaurant Guru. Facebook shows 4.6/5 from 233 reviews. TripAdvisor has only 3 reviews (3.5 to 3.7/5), too few to mean much (Restaurant Guru; Sluurpy).

AutoMostaza Entre Ríos: Salta’s only drive-thru
AutoMostaza Salta, at Av. Entre Ríos 1950 on the corner of Junín, opened as a franchise in October 2025 as the city’s first Mostaza drive-thru, and I found no sign of a second one since. It is a big format: 226 seats, a 13-car parking lot, a kids’ play area, a coffee bar and deli with pastries, and self-service ordering kiosks. The opening created 45 jobs for young people (Modo Viernes; InSalta; Infofranquicias).

Mostaza Alto NOA: inside the shopping mall
Mostaza Alto NOA is in the Alto NOA Shopping mall at Av. del Bicentenario de la Batalla de Salta 702 (formerly listed as Virrey Toledo 702). The mall has a food court and a 7-screen cinema (Visit Salta), so it suits a movie night or a rainy afternoon.
It rates lower than downtown: 3.7/5 on Google from 251 reviews, and 6/10 on Foursquare. Restaurant Guru lists delivery through PedidosYa and Rappi, takeout, wheelchair access and card payments (Restaurant Guru).

Unconfirmed Mostaza listings in Salta
Two other Salta listings could not be confirmed on October 7, 2026. Tiendeo lists a Mostaza at Portal Salta Shopping (20 de Febrero 1437), and local builder CONDISER showcases a “Mostaza Portal Salta” project, but the mall’s own directory does not list Mostaza and the addresses conflict. A Mostaza at the Libertad hypermarket on Av. Tavella is also uncertain: the store changed hands to La Anónima in 2026, and I found no current listing for the branch.
Outside the capital, Mostaza also operates in San Ramón de la Nueva Orán, on López y Planes street, in the north of Salta province (Gente de Salta).
Mostaza Salta opening hours
No official source confirms the current hours of any Salta branch, so check Google Maps on the day you go. Here is what aggregators and the press report.
| Branch | Reported hours | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Alberdi | Conflicting: 8 am to midnight on most days with 11 am to 11:45 pm on one weekend day, or 9 am to midnight daily | Unverified |
| Alto NOA | 10 am to midnight daily (Restaurant Guru, Sucursales24) | Unverified; mall guides list 10 am to 10 pm for the mall |
| AutoMostaza Entre Ríos | Announced 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays; a customer reported closing at 2 am on weekends and midnight on weekdays | Unverified |
Is the AutoMostaza open 24 hours?
Not reliably. At the October 2025 opening, Mostaza announced the AutoMostaza would run 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays (Cronistas del Mundo). Days later, a customer found it closed at night and said it shuts at 2 am on weekends and at midnight on weekdays (Pueinfo, October 13, 2025). I could not confirm which schedule applies today. If you are heading there after midnight, check live hours first: I would not drive across town on the strength of a launch announcement.
Mostaza Salta menu: what to order
Mostaza’s menu is built around its Mega burgers, with chicken, salads, kids’ meals, coffee and desserts alongside. The official categories are Mega (burgers), Pollos (chicken), ParaVos, Ensaladas (salads), Cajita (the kids’ meal), Extras, Cafetería and Postres (desserts) (mostazaweb.com.ar).
Mega burgers: the core of the menu
The Mega range is where to start. The Mega Cuarto, the chain’s quarter-pounder, comes with cheddar, ketchup, mustard and onion, and is sold as a combo with fries and a drink. A double version, the Doble Mega Cuarto, is also on the menu.

Mega Homo Argentum: the movie burger
The Mega Homo Argentum is a limited-edition burger Mostaza launched nationwide in August 2025 alongside the Guillermo Francella film Homo Argentum. It stacks two beef patties, double provolone, fries inside the bun, salsa criolla, chimichurri, red onion and bacon, and came single or double, with a 30% launch discount (iProfesional, August 28, 2025). On paper, it is the most Argentine burger the chain has made, and the one I would look for first. I could not confirm it is still sold in Salta.
Vegetarian and vegan options at Mostaza
Yes, Mostaza has meat-free burgers. The Mega NotBurger range, made with Chilean food-tech company NotCo, includes the Mega Deluxe NotBurger, Mega Cheddar NotBurger and Mega Vegan NotBurger. The plant-based patty uses pea protein, chia, coconut oil, beet and spinach, served on a vegan bun (Infonegocios; Infogastronómica). Reviews confirm a vegetarian burger at the Alberdi branch, but which NotBurger items are on Salta menus today is not confirmed.
How much does Mostaza cost? Prices in ARS
I could not verify Salta prices: the Salta Rappi page was unreachable on October 7, 2026. As a reference only, Rappi listed these combo prices for Buenos Aires in 2026.
| Combo (burger, fries, drink) | Buenos Aires price on Rappi, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Combo Mega Cuarto, Palermo | ARS 18,500 |
| Combo Mega Cuarto, Centro | ARS 18,700 |
| Combo Doble Mega Cuarto, Palermo | ARS 21,900 |
Mostaza combo prices in Buenos Aires on Rappi in 2026: Combo Mega Cuarto ARS 18,500 to 18,700, Combo Doble Mega Cuarto ARS 21,900. Salta prices are unverified and may differ. (Chart: Burger Breton (original work), data from Rappi Buenos Aires listings 2026, rendered with QuickChart, 800x400)
Salta prices may differ, and Argentine prices move fast. Check the Mostaza app, Rappi or PedidosYa for the branch you plan to visit.
Mostaza Salta reviews: what diners say
Diners rate downtown Alberdi well above Alto NOA: 4.2/5 versus 3.7/5 on Google. The gap in volume is just as telling, with roughly 6,000 reviews for Alberdi against 251 for the mall branch.
Mostaza Salta Google ratings: Alberdi 4.2/5 from about 6,000 reviews versus Alto NOA 3.7/5 from 251 reviews, as compiled by Restaurant Guru and Sluurpy (Chart: Burger Breton (original work), data from Restaurant Guru and Sluurpy, rendered with QuickChart, 800x400)
At Alberdi, reviewers praise friendly staff, cleanliness, speed, a security guard at the door, Wi-Fi and the breakfasts. The complaints: the menu is QR-code only, and service feels slower than it used to. Restrooms open with a code printed on your receipt, so keep it.
At Alto NOA, reviewers like the pleasant staff, quick service and good prices. The criticism is sharper: some find the beef and the value weaker than at McDonald’s and Burger King (Restaurant Guru).
Which Mostaza should you choose in Salta?
Choose Alberdi if you are exploring the historic center on foot, and the AutoMostaza on Entre Ríos if you are driving, traveling with kids or eating late. Alberdi has the best score of the rated branches and the most central spot. The AutoMostaza has parking, a play area and 226 seats. Alto NOA makes sense only if you are already at the mall: at 3.7/5, it is the branch I would skip.
Mostaza delivery in Salta
You can order Mostaza for delivery in Salta. Restaurant Guru lists PedidosYa and Rappi for the Alto NOA branch, and the official Mostaza app handles orders and MostaClub rewards. Delivery coverage for the other branches is not confirmed.
Beyond Mostaza: burgers in Salta and Argentina
Mostaza is a predictable fast-food stop, not a destination, and it is only one piece of Salta’s burger scene. Our Salta burgers page gathers every guide we publish on the city, and the Burger Breton restaurants hub lists all the cities we cover.
Traveling on through Argentina? Our city pages for Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Rosario, Mendoza and La Plata collect our burger coverage there. For another home-grown chain covered the same way, see our BurgerFuel Wellington guide.
