Carl's Jr Cancun: Locations, Hours, Menu Prices and Reviews (2026)
Where to find Carl's Jr in Cancún, which branch to pick, what a burger costs in pesos and what diners say, all checked on October 7, 2026.

Carl’s Jr in Cancun means one branch above all: the downtown restaurant on Avenida Yaxchilán, in El Centro, about 310 m from Parque de las Palapas. It is the only Cancún branch with a page on the official Carl’s Jr. México site and by far the most reviewed, at 4.2/5 on Google from about 3,486 reviews. Directories list it open every day from 8 am to 10 pm. Staying in the Hotel Zone? I found no confirmed branch there, so plan on a trip into town. Two more branches turn up in listings, at Las Plazas Outlet and Plaza Las Américas. A Famous Star con Queso on its own runs about 99 MXN, going by unofficial national menu prices.

How I put this Carl’s Jr Cancun guide together
I built this guide from the official Carl’s Jr. México site, Mexican press, delivery platforms, directories and review aggregators, and I flag every figure the source itself does not back. I have not eaten at these branches for this piece, so you will find no tasting verdict here. What you will find is my opinion on which branch suits which trip.
The ratings come from Wanderlog, which relays Google and TripAdvisor data; I did not read them directly on those platforms. Prices come from an unofficial national menu aggregator, because the Cancún pages on Uber Eats and carta.menu were blocked when I checked. Directories contradict each other on street numbers, phones and hours, and I point out every conflict below. All sources were consulted on October 7, 2026.
What is Carl’s Jr.? The chain in Mexico
Carl’s Jr. is a Californian burger chain that has been in Mexico since 1991 and counts Mexico as its largest market outside the United States. Carl Karcher started the business in 1941 with hot dog stands in Los Angeles, and the first Carl’s Jr. restaurants opened in Anaheim, California, in 1956 (Milenio).

The first Mexican restaurant opened in San Pedro Garza García, in Nuevo León, in 1991 (Milenio). The chain passed 200 Mexican restaurants in December 2015 (Franchising.com), and Milenio counted more than 300 in 2024. Carl’s Jr. belongs to CKE Restaurants Holdings, which also owns Hardee’s, the name many Americans know from the East and Midwest.
The brand turned 35 in Mexico in 2026. To mark it, on September 30, 2026, a Famous Star con Queso on its own sold for 35 MXN, excluding combos and airport restaurants (Crónica). It was a one-day deal. Don’t expect that price at the counter today.

Carl’s Jr Cancun locations and addresses
Carl’s Jr. has one branch in Cancún confirmed by the chain, on Av. Yaxchilán, and two more listed by directories and delivery apps. The official locator would not load when I checked, so I give no total count.

Carl’s Jr. Yaxchilán: the downtown pick
Carl’s Jr. Yaxchilán is the branch to choose in Cancún: it is central, reviewed by thousands of diners and the only one with an official page. The chain lists it as “Carl’s Jr. Cancún”, Av. Yaxchilán 22, Cancún, Quintana Roo, C.P. 77500, phone 998 256 6397 (carlsjr.com.mx).

Directories and Wanderlog put the same branch at “Av. Yaxchilán 13 (Mz 12)”, with the same phone number (Sucursales24; Wanderlog). The “22” may be Supermanzana 22, the city block, rather than a street number. Nobody I could find settles it. My advice: search “Carl’s Jr Yaxchilán” in your maps app rather than typing a number.
The branch sits about 310 m from Parque de las Palapas, a short walk from the evening food carts. Competition is close: a Burger King about 350 m away, at Av. Yaxchilán and Av. Xcaret, and a Domino’s about 210 m away on Av. Cobá (Sucursales24).

Carl’s Jr. Las Plazas Outlet
Las Plazas Outlet Cancún appears in directories as a Carl’s Jr. branch, but no official source says it is open today. The listed address is Av. Quintana Roo, corner of Prolongación Kohunlich, s/n, C.P. 77500, with phone 998 848 3888 and hours of 8 am to 11 pm daily (Sucursales24; Sucursales y Horarios). Call before you make the trip.
Carl’s Jr. Plaza Las Américas
Plaza Las Américas has a Carl’s Jr. listed on Uber Eats as “Carl’s Jr. - Plaza Americas” (Uber Eats). The mall is on Av. Tulum Sur, SM 7, and is Cancún’s largest shopping center, open since 1998 (Wikipedia). Where the counter sits inside the mall, and when it opens, no source I found says.

Is there a Carl’s Jr. in the Cancún Hotel Zone?
No Carl’s Jr. branch is confirmed in the Zona Hotelera or at Cancún airport. From the beach strip, the nearest documented option is the downtown Yaxchilán branch. Our Cancún burger hub explains how the Hotel Zone and downtown differ.
Carl’s Jr Cancun opening hours
Carl’s Jr. Yaxchilán is reported open from 8 am to 10 pm every day, but the chain does not publish hours for it. Directories add that hours can change with the season, so check Google Maps or call 998 256 6397 on the day.
| Branch | Reported hours | Source | Status |

Carl’s Jr Cancun menu and prices in pesos
A Carl’s Jr. burger in Mexico costs roughly 99 to 163 MXN on its own, from the Famous Star con Queso to the Original Big Angus. These are national reference prices from an unofficial aggregator, dated October 2026, not Cancún menu prices (mxmenu.org).
| Item | Reference price (MXN, Oct 2026) |
|---|---|
| Famous Star con Queso | 99 |
| Western Bacon Cheeseburger | 114 |
| The Big Carl | 115 |
| Super Star con Queso | 138 |
| Original Big Angus | 163 |

How much a Carl’s Jr. burger costs in Mexico (bar chart, MXN, October 2026): Famous Star con Queso 99, Western Bacon Cheeseburger 114, The Big Carl 115, Super Star con Queso 138, Original Big Angus 163. Unofficial national prices; a combo costs 185–239 MXN on delivery apps. (Chart: Burger Breton, data from mxmenu.org (unofficial))
Combos are where the bill climbs. Uber Eats and menu-precios.com search results put a Famous Star con Queso combo between 185 and 239 MXN, depending on the platform and branch. I found no verified source to set these against US menu prices, so check the day’s peso rate in your banking app before comparing with home.
What to order at Carl’s Jr. in Cancún
Diners at the Yaxchilán branch single out the Western Bacon, the Double Western Bacon and the Diablo burger, plus curly fries, Chili Cheese Fries and milkshakes made with real ice cream (Wanderlog). My one order would be the Western Bacon with curly fries: it is the burger reviewers name most often. Want heat? Go for the Diablo.

Is the Mexican menu different from the US menu?
The core burgers carry the same names as in the US, often with “con Queso” added, and I found no Cancún-only item. The Mexican site runs its own national promotions: “Martes Todos Comen Carl’s” on Tuesdays, the Happy Star Burger and Carl’s Packs, and it has a “Menú y Nutrición” section (carlsjr.com.mx).
Vegetarian options at Carl’s Jr. Mexico
No vegetarian or plant-based burger is confirmed at Carl’s Jr. in Cancún. A Beyond Famous Star has been sold in the US, but nothing shows it reached Mexico. Check the “Menú y Nutrición” section of the official site before you go.
Carl’s Jr Cancun reviews: what diners say
The Yaxchilán branch rates 4.2/5 on Google across about 3,486 reviews and 3.5/5 on TripAdvisor across 29 reviews, as relayed by Wanderlog. Trust the Google score; it rests on a large sample. The TripAdvisor one is too thin to weigh much.

What reviewers like
Reviewers praise the table service, the two-level dining room, the cleanliness and the music. On the food, praise centers on the Western Bacon burgers, the Diablo, curly fries, Chili Cheese Fries and the real ice cream shakes (Wanderlog).
What reviewers criticize
The recurring complaints: air conditioning that struggles on hot days, waits and disorganization at peak times, and order mistakes. Opinions on prices are split, and some diners say a tip is expected, but not consistently (Wanderlog). My advice in Cancún’s heat: go outside the lunch rush, and check your order before you dig in.
Carl’s Jr. delivery in Cancún
You can get Carl’s Jr. delivered in Cancún through Uber Eats, which lists the Plaza Las Américas branch. The only combo prices I found come from delivery platforms: 185 to 239 MXN for a Famous Star con Queso combo. Rappi and DiDi Food listings for Cancún did not show up in my checks.
Which Carl’s Jr. should you choose in Cancún?
Choose the Yaxchilán branch. It is the only one confirmed by the chain, the most reviewed, and it pairs easily with an evening at Parque de las Palapas. Plaza Las Américas makes sense if you are already shopping there or ordering in. Las Plazas Outlet? I would not travel there without calling first.
