Manhattn's Burgers Bruges: Menu, Prices, Reviews and Opening Hours
Manhattn's Burgers Bruges on Simon Stevinplein: hours, 2024 menu prices (€12.50–€14.30), reviews and how it compares with Ellis on the same square.

Manhattn’s Burgers in Bruges is at Simon Stevinplein 2, 8000 Brugge, and opens every day from 11:30 am to 10 pm. I checked those hours against the chain’s official restaurant list on 10 October 2026. The menu is flame-grilled Irish Angus burgers on brioche buns, with Belgian fries and Belgian beer. On the last official Belgian menu (August 2024), burgers cost €12.50 to €14.30. You can’t book. Deliveroo delivers, and Google reviewers give it 4.6/5. My short verdict: this is a dependable chain burger on a pretty old-town square, not a reason to travel to Bruges. On Google, though, it is the better-rated of the two burger places on Simon Stevinplein. The other is Ellis Gourmet Burger, a few doors along.

Search for “Manhattn’s Brugge” too. That is the Dutch name of the city, and it is how Deliveroo, Untappd and local job ads list the restaurant.
Where is Manhattn’s Burgers in Bruges?
Manhattn’s Burgers is at Simon Stevinplein 2, 8000 Brugge, in the historic centre of Bruges. The chain’s Bruges page and its restaurant list give that address, and so do student.be and Wanderlog.

It is the chain’s only branch in the city. Manhattn’s announced it on TikTok as “our newest restaurant in Bruges on Simon Stevinplein”. The video’s timestamp points to spring 2024, but no press report confirms the date, so the most I can say is that it has been open since 2024.

Manhattn’s Bruges opening hours
Manhattn’s Burgers Bruges is open seven days a week, Sunday included, from 11:30 am to 10 pm. That comes from the chain’s official restaurant list, checked on 10 October 2026.
One caveat. The generic footer on the Bruges page says 11:30 am to 10:30 pm. I trusted the restaurant list, because it gives hours location by location. Holiday hours aren’t published, so if you’re planning a late dinner, check the official page on the day.
Manhattn’s Bruges menu and prices
The Manhattn’s Bruges menu is built around flame-grilled burgers made with grass-fed Irish Angus beef, served on a brioche bun with house sauces and fresh fries. On the most recent official Belgian menu (August 2024), burgers cost €12.50 to €14.30.
Those prices are two years old. The chain’s current online menu lists the dishes but no prices, so the figures below come from the official Belgian menu PDF dated August 2024. Expect to pay the same or more in Bruges today, and more again on delivery apps.
Burgers
| Burger | What it is | Price (Aug 2024) |
|---|---|---|

| Brooklyn Falafel | Vegetarian falafel burger | €13.80 |
| Gotham | Signature beef burger | €13.70 |

Manhattn’s burger prices in Belgium, horizontal bar chart from the August 2024 official menu: Gatsby €14.30, Brooklyn Falafel €13.80, Gotham €13.70, Rockefeller and Flatiron Spicy €13.50, Harlem Chicken €13.30, Tribeca Chicken €12.60, Empire Cheeseburger €12.50, Central Park Kids €10.90. The online menu I checked on 10 October 2026 has three burgers that weren’t there in 2024. The Paname Cheeseburger comes with Reblochon AOC. The K-town Cheeseburger brings kimchi. The Butcher’s Béarnaise does what its name says. None has a published price yet, and the Flatiron Spicy has dropped off the list.
Fries, sides and the Wall Street Deal
Fries cost €4.30 a portion on the 2024 menu, and the set meal was €23.90.
- Godfather Fries (fresh Belgian fries): €4.30
- Spice Mix Fries: €4.30
- Yankee Fries (sweet potato): €5.00
- Liberty Coleslaw: €4.90
- Wall Street Deal (Empire Cheeseburger, fries, 35 cl house iced tea and a cookie): €23.90
- Salads: Soho Veggie €16.90, Madison Chicken €17.50
Manhattn’s fries, sides and the Wall Street Deal on the August 2024 Belgian menu: fries from €4.30, and €23.90 for the set with a burger, fries, iced tea and a cookie. (Table: Burger Breton, data from the Manhattn’s official Belgian menu (August 2024))
The Wall Street Deal is not much of a deal. Bought separately, an Empire and a portion of Godfather Fries already come to €16.80, so you’re paying €7.10 for the iced tea and the cookie, which together cost €9.40 on their own.
Drinks, milkshakes and Bruges beer
The beer list is where Manhattn’s feels most like Bruges. The 2024 menu flagged Brugge Tripel as a “Popular pick!”, at €6.00 for 33 cl or €8.50 for 50 cl. Alongside it were Steenbrugge Blond, Rodenbach Fruitage, Brussels Beer Project’s Delta IPA and BBP Pico Bello (0.3%). Milkshakes (vanilla, speculoos, Oreo) cost €6.50 to €7.00, house iced tea €4.50 and a New York cookie €4.90. Seasonal beers rotate, so I can’t promise the Tripel is still on.

Manhattn’s Bruges reviews: what diners say
Manhattn’s Bruges reviews are mostly positive on Google, which rates it 4.6/5 from 1,542 reviews. TripAdvisor is cooler at 3.5/5, but from just 17 reviews. Both figures come from Wanderlog, consulted on 10 October 2026. Wanderlog doesn’t say when it pulled them, and TripAdvisor blocked direct access, so treat them as a snapshot.
Another aggregator, intravel.net, shows 4.5/5 from 700 reviews. Each site captured its figures at a different time, which explains the mismatch. The pattern holds across all three, though: a large, happy Google crowd and a small, more critical TripAdvisor sample.
Manhattn’s Burgers Bruges ratings by platform: Google 4.6/5 (1,542 reviews), intravel.net 4.5/5 (700) and TripAdvisor 3.5/5 (17). Figures come from aggregators and were consulted on 10 October 2026. (Chart: Burger Breton, data from Wanderlog and intravel.net (10 October 2026) — SVG 800×400, src/assets/restaurants-bruges-manhattn-s-burgers/manhattns-bruges-ratings-chart.svg)
- What reviewers praise: the Gatsby above all, then friendly staff and quick self-service ordering.
- What they criticise: some diners say the fries taste “pre-made”. That’s a pointed complaint, because the chain says its fries are fresh and BRUZZ reports they are cooked twice.
- Value: intravel.net puts a typical spend at €20 to €30 per person. That matches a burger, fries and a drink at the 2024 prices.
Wanderlog and intravel.net also mention a terrace, an upstairs dining room, wheelchair access and paid parking nearby. The chain doesn’t confirm any of it, so I’m passing it on as unverified.

For burgers on Simon Stevinplein, Manhattn’s has the stronger Google rating (4.6 against 4.1). Ellis Gourmet Burger, at number 14 on the same square, has a far longer TripAdvisor record and a slightly better score there.

All four ratings come from third-party aggregators consulted on 10 October 2026 (Wanderlog, TripExpert). My take: on paper, Manhattn’s wins. Its Google score holds up over more than 1,500 reviews, its menu is published and priced, and it pours a Bruges beer. But 17 TripAdvisor reviews are far too few to call it weaker than Ellis there. Ellis has simply been reviewed by many more travellers.
The story behind Manhattn’s Burgers
Manhattn’s is a Belgian burger chain founded by the brothers Jérôme and Philippe Vandermeulen. They opened the first restaurant on 22 October 2014 at 164 avenue Louise in Brussels, according to the “Our story” section of the official menu.
The idea came from New York. In 2011, Jérôme was working on a waffle and coffee food truck near Central Park, and he decided to bring that Manhattan feel back to Europe. The chain’s tagline today: “Belgian roots, New York soul”. When BRUZZ covered the chain’s tenth anniversary, it singled out the flame-grilled Irish Angus, the twice-cooked fries, the house sauces and the Belgian specialty beers.
Bruges has a personal link to the brand. Philippe, the chef of the two brothers, trained at the Spermalie hotel school in Bruges, as AC Franchise reported on 30 September 2026.

How I put this guide together
This is a fact sheet built from sources, not a scored review: I haven’t eaten at the Bruges branch for this guide. The address, hours and booking policy come from the chain’s official pages. The prices and history come from the official Belgian menu PDF (August 2024). The ratings come from Wanderlog, intravel.net and TripExpert, and the chain’s background from AC Franchise and BRUZZ. I checked everything on 10 October 2026.
A few details appear only on aggregators: a phone number, cash payment, wheelchair access, parking and a terrace. I’ve either flagged them as unverified or left them out. The official contact for questions is info@manhattns.com.
