Goiko Barcelona: All 9 Addresses, Opening Hours, Menu and Reviews
Which of Barcelona's nine Goiko restaurants to pick, when they open, where the four city-only burgers are and what diners say, checked 10 October 2026.

Goiko has nine restaurants in the city of Barcelona and seven more in nearby towns, according to the chain’s official province page, which I checked on 10 October 2026. If you only go to one, make it Goiko Via Laietana 13 in the Gothic Quarter: it’s central, it stays open until midnight from Thursday to Sunday, and it’s the only Goiko that serves La Fantasma. Coeliac? Go straight to Goiko Gluten Free Sant Joan 58. The whole kitchen is gluten-free, the Associació Celíacs de Catalunya has certified it, and no Goiko in the city scores higher on Gastroranking.
Most Goiko Barcelona addresses open at noon and close at 11:30 pm Monday to Wednesday, midnight Thursday to Sunday. Gran Via 129 and Diagonal Mar open later, at 1 pm, and close earlier on most nights. Budget under €20 per person at most addresses and €20–30 at Independència 339, according to Gastroranking.
How I checked: every address, phone number, service and opening time comes from Goiko’s official restaurant pages, read on 10 October 2026. Ratings come from Gastroranking, which combines Google, Just Eat and Tripadvisor reviews. The history comes from the Spanish trade press (Alimarket), Time Out Barcelona and Metrópoli Abierta. Where I couldn’t confirm something, I say so or leave it out.

Which Goiko in Barcelona should you choose?
Pick the Goiko closest to where you’re staying. Every one serves the same national menu, and only four add a burger you can’t get anywhere else.
- In the old town or Gothic Quarter: Via Laietana 13, for La Fantasma.
- Coeliac or gluten-sensitive: Gluten Free Sant Joan 58, with no gluten anywhere in the kitchen.
- Visiting the Sagrada Família: Independència 339, which is in the same neighbourhood.
- Staying in the Eixample: Aribau 113, for La Montserrat.
- Shopping or by the sea: Diagonal Mar, inside the shopping centre at the sea end of Avinguda Diagonal.
- Want the best reviews: Sant Joan 58, rated 8.7/10 on Gastroranking and 6th of 114 burger restaurants in Barcelona.
Goiko Via Laietana 13: the Goiko for the Gothic Quarter
Goiko Via Laietana 13 (08003) is the most central Goiko in Barcelona, in the Barri Gòtic. It’s the one I’d send a first-time visitor to.
Its exclusive is La Fantasma, made with fresh cheese, crispy bacon, caramelised peppers, crispy onion and lamb’s lettuce. The official page lists free wifi, a kids’ menu, a baby-changing table, wheelchair access, table booking, delivery and takeaway.

On Gastroranking, Via Laietana scores 8.2/10 across 4,666 reviews: 9.2 on Google (4,502 reviews) and 8.4 on Just Eat (164). It ranks 20th of 134 American restaurants in Barcelona. Reviewers praise the fast, friendly service. The recurring complaint is that quality and portions slip during promotions.
Goiko Gluten Free Sant Joan 58: a 100% gluten-free burger in Barcelona
Goiko Gluten Free Sant Joan 58 is a 100% gluten-free burger restaurant in Barcelona. Nothing on the menu contains gluten, not even in traces, and the Associació Celíacs de Catalunya has certified it (Time Out Barcelona). For a coeliac traveller, that matters more than any exclusive burger.
This address is also where Goiko started in Catalonia, back in 2017. The gluten-free conversion was in place by 2 February 2026 at the latest, but I couldn’t find the exact date. The gluten-free menu includes the Kevin Bacon, the Pigma (with a fried egg and Goiko sauce) and chicken tenders. For Free Burger Day on Wednesday 11 February 2026, the restaurant gave away 200 gluten-free Kevin Bacons.
The official page lists the longest hours in the city: noon to midnight, seven days a week. It also lists a terrace where dogs are welcome, wifi, a kids’ menu, a baby-changing table, wheelchair access, booking, delivery and takeaway. Time Out names Girona as the nearest metro station.

Gastroranking gives Sant Joan 58 an 8.7/10 across 12,402 reviews: 8.8 on Google (11,365), 8.8 on Just Eat (591) and 6.6 on Tripadvisor (456). It ranks 6th of 114 burger restaurants in Barcelona, the highest of any Goiko in the city. Diners praise the gluten-free bun, the modern, clean dining room and the service. Some complain about slightly high prices and small mistakes with orders.
Goiko Independència 339: the Goiko near the Sagrada Família
Goiko Independència 339 (08026) is the Goiko for the Sagrada Família, in the Eixample neighbourhood of the same name. It’s also the second best-rated Goiko in Barcelona.
The Sagrada Família’s Passion façade: Goiko Independència 339 is in the same Eixample neighbourhood, the closest Goiko for a post-visit burger (Photo: Moyan Brenn, CC BY 2.0, via Wikimedia Commons (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Barcelona\_(5237981315).jpg))
Gastroranking scores it 8.6/10 across 8,252 reviews: 8.6 on Google (6,944), 9.2 on Just Eat (1,207) and 5.2 on Tripadvisor (101). It ranks 9th of 114 burger restaurants. It’s also the priciest address on Gastroranking, at €20–30 per person. Reviewers keep coming back to the Smash Don Vito.
The official page lists wifi, a kids’ menu, booking, delivery and takeaway. It says nothing about an exclusive burger or wheelchair access, so call +34 937 37 71 26 if access matters to you.
Goiko Aribau 113: the Eixample address
Goiko Aribau 113 (08036) is Barcelona’s second-oldest Goiko and the one to choose in the Eixample. Time Out listed it alongside Sant Joan 58 in December 2017, when they were the chain’s 20th and 21st restaurants in Spain (Time Out Barcelona).
Its exclusive is La Montserrat, made with a fried egg, a potato hash brown, fried spinach, manchego and truffle mayonnaise. The official page lists wifi, a kids’ menu, a baby-changing table, wheelchair access, booking, delivery and takeaway.
Aribau has the most reviews of any Goiko in the city. Gastroranking gives it 8.4/10 across 12,374 reviews: 8.8 on Google (11,496), 8.2 on Just Eat (558) and 6.4 on Tripadvisor (320). It ranks 15th of 114 burger restaurants. Diners praise the service, the ingredients and the value for money. They complain about the fries, small portions and deliveries that take more than 40 minutes.
The other Goiko restaurants in Barcelona
The remaining five sit in residential neighbourhoods or shopping centres. I wouldn’t cross town for any of them, but each is handy if you’re already nearby.
Goiko Paseo Maragall 148 (El Guinardó)
Goiko Maragall 148 (08027) has the highest Google score of any Goiko in the city, 9.4 across 5,388 reviews. Its overall Gastroranking score is 8.3/10 across 5,758 reviews, which puts it 20th of 114. The official page lists wifi, a kids’ menu, a baby-changing table, accessibility, booking, delivery and takeaway.
Goiko Gran Via 129 (La Bordeta)
Goiko Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 129 (08014) keeps the shortest hours of all nine. It opens at 13:00 every day and closes at 23:00 from Sunday to Thursday, or 23:30 on Friday and Saturday (official page). Gastroranking gives it 8.2/10 across 6,001 reviews and ranks it 23rd of 114. The air conditioning is a frequent complaint.
Goiko Can Segalar 18
Goiko Can Segalar 18 (08014) serves La Suis, made with raclette, melted onions, a hash brown, pickles and lamb’s lettuce. The official page lists wifi, a kids’ menu, a baby-changing table, booking, delivery and takeaway.
Goiko C.C. Som Multiespai
Goiko Som Multiespai is in the shopping centre at Av. Río de Janeiro 42 (08016). Its exclusive is La Gresca, made with black garlic sauce, gouda, guacamole, crispy onion and a fried egg. It’s open until midnight from Wednesday to Sunday (official page).
Goiko C.C. Diagonal Mar
Goiko Diagonal Mar is inside the Diagonal Mar shopping centre at Avinguda Diagonal 3 (08019). It opened on 28 September 2023 in a 232 m² space (Metrópoli Abierta). The official page lists a terrace where dogs are welcome, a kids’ menu, a baby-changing table and wheelchair access.
Addresses you shouldn’t count on
Some Goiko addresses still show up online but aren’t on the official province page. Goiko Bruc 25 still has a Gastroranking listing, but its status is unknown. A July 2024 post on Goiko’s own blog lists addresses such as Aragó 235, Pau Claris 113 and Diagonal 377. None of them is on the current official list, so check before you go.
Goiko near Barcelona: the seven restaurants in the province
Seven more Goiko restaurants are in the province of Barcelona, outside the city (official province page).
- L’Hospitalet de Llobregat: Plaza Europa 38
- Mataró: La Riera 89
- Badalona: Carrer de Mar 73
- Sant Cugat del Vallès: Av. Torre Blanca 2
- Terrassa: Calle de la Unió 7
- Sabadell: Carrer Sant Joan 23-31
- Viladecans: C.C. Vilamarina, Av. del Segle XXI 6
Goiko Barcelona menu: what to order
Goiko Barcelona serves the chain’s national menu, plus an exclusive burger at four addresses. The official menu covers starters, burgers, smash burgers, Chicken Lovers, a kids’ menu, salads, desserts, drinks and set menus. It also has a gluten-free restaurant filter and an allergen page.
Signature burgers
On your first visit, order the Kevin Bacon. It’s the chain’s best-seller, and Time Out called it the best-selling burger in Spain back in 2017. Reviewers at Independència 339 often mention the Smash Don Vito. Time Out also recommends starting with the Venezuelan tequeños, a nod to the founder’s roots.

Barcelona-only burgers
Barcelona has four confirmed exclusive burgers, each served at only one restaurant. The official pages for the other five addresses don’t name one, so I haven’t listed any.
| Burger | Restaurant | Key ingredients |
|---|---|---|
| La Fantasma | Via Laietana 13 | Fresh cheese, crispy bacon, caramelised peppers, crispy onion |
| La Montserrat | Aribau 113 | Fried egg, potato hash brown, fried spinach, manchego, truffle mayo |
| La Suis | Can Segalar 18 | Raclette, melted onions, hash brown, pickles |
| La Gresca | C.C. Som Multiespai | Black garlic sauce, gouda, guacamole, crispy onion, fried egg |
Vegetarian and gluten-free options
For gluten-free burgers in Barcelona, go to Sant Joan 58, where the whole menu is gluten-free and certified. At the other addresses, check the allergen page before you order. In Valencia, Goiko’s vegetarian burger is the Veggie Mercury. I couldn’t confirm that it’s on the Barcelona menu in October 2026, and I found no confirmed vegan option.
Goiko Barcelona prices
Plan on under €20 per person at Goiko in Barcelona, or €20–30 at Independència 339. Gastroranking gives the first range for six of the seven listings I checked. Goiko doesn’t publish prices on its public menu: they only appear once you pick a restaurant in the online order, and they vary from one address to the next. That’s why I don’t quote prices for individual burgers. Time Out mentioned a weekday set menu at around €12 in 2017. Nine years on, I wouldn’t plan around that figure.
Goiko Barcelona reviews: what diners say
Diners rate Goiko Barcelona highly on Google and Just Eat, and much lower on Tripadvisor. Google scores range from 8.4 to 9.4, while Tripadvisor scores range from 5.2 to 6.6. These figures come from Gastroranking, recorded on 10 October 2026. I didn’t read the scores directly on each platform, and review totals change quickly.
Goiko Barcelona reviews by platform (out of 10): Google and Just Eat rate all six listed addresses 8.2–9.4, while Tripadvisor scores only 5.2–6.6. Source: Gastroranking, 10 October 2026 (Chart: Burger Breton, data from Gastroranking (10 October 2026), rendered with QuickChart)
- Praise: fast, friendly service, good ingredients, value for money, and the gluten-free bun at Sant Joan 58.
- Complaints: fries, small portions, smaller servings during promotions, deliveries over 40 minutes, and the air conditioning at Gran Via 129.
My take: Goiko is at its best at the table. Most complaints are about delivery times and promotion-day portions, so sit down and order from the regular menu if you can.
Booking, takeaway and delivery at Goiko Barcelona
Booking a table at Goiko Barcelona is optional; you can reserve online at goiko.com/es/reservas. Eight of the nine official pages list booking, delivery and takeaway, and Diagonal Mar’s page mentions none of them. For delivery, order at goiko.com/es/delivery. None of the official pages lists payment methods or parking.
Goiko’s story in Barcelona
Goiko is a Spanish burger chain, founded in Madrid in 2013 by Andoni Goicoechea (Goikoetxea), a Venezuelan doctor of Basque descent. It arrived in Barcelona in 2017. The first restaurant opened at Passeig de Sant Joan 58, with 250 m², 15 staff and delivery through Glovo. At the time, the chain had 18 restaurants and was aiming for 26 by the end of the year (Alimarket).
Growth came fast. In April 2018, Goiko opened its fifth Barcelona restaurant, 222 m² on Plaça Ildefons Cerdà (Alimarket). The chain had 57 restaurants in Spain by February 2019, according to Alimarket. By February 2022, it had 17 restaurants in Catalonia, 89 in Spain and 2 in Paris (Alimarket). The 100th opened in Murcia in September 2022, a year before Diagonal Mar.
Goiko’s growth in Spain: 18 restaurants when Sant Joan 58 opened Barcelona’s first in 2017, 89 by February 2022 (17 in Catalonia) and 100 by September 2022. Sources: Alimarket, press reports (Chart: Burger Breton, data from Alimarket and Spanish press, rendered with QuickChart)
The chain is also changing shape. In late 2025 it moved into food stands and events (Merca2), and in February 2026 Alimarket reported that a new majority shareholder had come in. For the chain’s early years and its one-exclusive-per-restaurant model, see my guide to Goiko in Valencia, the chain’s first city outside Madrid.
Is Goiko worth it in Barcelona?
Goiko is worth it in Barcelona if you want a reliable burger, long opening hours or a safe gluten-free meal. It isn’t the most original burger in the city, and I wouldn’t pretend otherwise. Sant Joan 58 ranks 6th of 114 burger restaurants on Gastroranking, and it’s the easiest gluten-free burger to recommend in Barcelona. My advice: try La Fantasma at Via Laietana 13 or eat gluten-free at Sant Joan 58, then go and try the independents. Our Barcelona burger page lists every Barcelona address we cover.
