Five Guys Pittsburgh: All 5 Locations, Menu, Reviews and Prices
Which of the five Pittsburgh restaurants to pick, what to order, what a meal costs and what diners really think, checked on October 9, 2026.

Five Guys has five restaurants with a Pittsburgh, PA address: Market Square (3 PPG Place, downtown), Oakland, Bloomfield, Fox Chapel and North Fayette. Visiting the city? Go to Five Guys Market Square at 3 PPG Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15222 (412-227-0206). It is the most central of the five, and it has outdoor seating. A burger, fries and a drink come to about $21 (US dollars), going by Restaurantji’s estimate. Reviews split hard: diners like the fresh, hot food and the big portions of fries, and complain about the price and the service.

A note on North Fayette: Uber Eats shows the ZIP code 15108 for the same address. I kept 15275, the code on the official Five Guys page.
Five Guys downtown Pittsburgh: Market Square at PPG Place
For a visitor, the best Five Guys in Pittsburgh is Market Square, at 3 PPG Place, right inside the glass PPG Place complex downtown. Its official page lists takeout, dine-in, delivery and outdoor seating, for lunch and dinner (Five Guys Market Square). Restaurantji confirms the address and phone number.

Five Guys Market Square and Five Guys PPG Place are one and the same restaurant. If you are already downtown for sightseeing, a game or work, this is the one I would pick. No need to drive out to the suburbs for the same menu.
Parking, transit stops, accessibility and accepted payment methods: I found no official source for any of them. If one matters to you, call 412-227-0206 first.
Five Guys Oakland, near Pitt and CMU
Five Guys Oakland, at 117 S. Bouquet St., is the student location, a short walk for University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon crowds. It offers takeout, dine-in and delivery (official page).
It also has a documented local history. On October 17, 2005, The Pitt News reported that Five Guys was taking over the vacant Bouquet Street building, a former KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut combo (The Pitt News). Local owner Raji Sankar planned to open “in the first week of November” and to accept Panther Funds, Pitt’s student card.

That is all the record shows. The exact opening date, whether this was the first Five Guys in Pittsburgh and whether Panther Funds still work today all remain unconfirmed. Ask at the counter before you pay with your student card.
Bloomfield, Fox Chapel and North Fayette
The other three Five Guys in Pittsburgh are neighborhood and suburban stops, useful if you live nearby or are already in the car. All three list takeout, dine-in and delivery.
- Bloomfield (5207 Liberty Ave, Suite 101): you can order on the Five Guys website, in the app, on DoorDash and on Uber Eats (official page).
- Fox Chapel (1029 Freeport Rd.): adds outdoor seating (official page).
- North Fayette (324 McHolme Dr.): adds outdoor seating (official page).
Our Pittsburgh burger hub lists Oakland, Bloomfield and Market Square among the neighborhoods worth exploring. Three of the five Five Guys sit in exactly those places.
Five Guys Pittsburgh hours
I could not verify the Pittsburgh hours, so check the official store page or call before you go. The official pages load their hours with JavaScript, and the aggregators disagree.
For Market Square, Restaurantji lists 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, while another aggregator shows 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. One aggregator gives Oakland 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Bloomfield, Fox Chapel and North Fayette: nothing at all. I would rather send you to the official page of each location, linked above, than print a schedule that might be wrong.
Five Guys Pittsburgh menu: what to order
Pittsburgh serves the standard US Five Guys menu: burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, fries and shakes, all built to order. The official pages show no Pittsburgh-only items.
According to the official US menu (fiveguys.com/menu), you can order:
- Burgers: fresh patties formed by hand, with as many free toppings as you want.
- Hot dogs: all-beef, split and grilled.
- Sandwiches: including a BLT.
- Fries: boardwalk-style, cooked in 100% refined peanut oil, in Five Guys style or Cajun style.
- Shakes: a vanilla base with mix-ins of your choice.
- Drinks: Coca-Cola and Dr Pepper.
The Pittsburgh store pages go further (Market Square page). The chain claims “more than 250,000 ways to customize your burger and more than 1,000 milkshake combinations”. It also says the beef is fresh, there are no freezers on site, the fries are cooked twice in 100% peanut oil and the ingredients are prepped by hand every day. Free peanuts are there while you wait: nearly 300,000 a week across its customers, according to Five Guys.
What I would order: a bacon cheeseburger, Cajun fries and a shake. That also happens to be what Market Square diners order most, according to Sluurpy. Reviewers keep mentioning the size of the fries, so one order between two is usually enough. Want to try it at home first? Here is how to make the Five Guys cheeseburger at home, plus the smaller Little Cheeseburger copycat.

How much does Five Guys cost in Pittsburgh?
A burger, fries and a drink at Five Guys in Pittsburgh cost about $21, according to Restaurantji’s estimate for Market Square (Restaurantji). Treat that as a ballpark, not a menu price.

Exact Pittsburgh prices are hard to pin down. The official ordering app prices items by location, and the “menus with prices” floating around online contradict each other. For today’s price, open the Five Guys app or website, pick your location and build your order before you pay. Five Guys Pittsburgh reviews: what diners say
Reviews of Five Guys Market Square are sharply divided: diners praise the fresh, hot food and the big fries, and criticize the prices, the service and the dining room. Here is what the two sources I could verify show, as of October 9, 2026.
| Source | Rating | Reviews | Details |
|---|---|---|---|
| Restaurantji | 3.5/5 | 235 | Food 3.5, atmosphere 2.8, service 2.9 |
| Sluurpy (aggregated) | 4.3/5 | Not stated | Popular: milkshakes, Cajun fries, bacon cheeseburger |
Five Guys Market Square ratings, bar chart: Restaurantji overall 3.5/5 (235 reviews), food 3.5, service 2.9, atmosphere 2.8, vs Sluurpy aggregated 4.3/5, checked October 9, 2026. (Chart: Burger Breton, data from Restaurantji and Sluurpy (October 9, 2026))
The Restaurantji breakdown tells the real story. About 45% of reviews are one star and about 27% are five stars. Few people feel neutral. The praise keeps coming back to fresh, hot food, quick service and generous fries. The complaints keep coming back to price, service and the dining room.
How divided are Five Guys Pittsburgh reviews? Restaurantji star split for Market Square: about 45% one-star, 27% five-star and about 28% in between. (Chart: Burger Breton, data from Restaurantji (October 9, 2026))
How I built this section: I used only ratings I could open and check on the date above. I could not access Google, Yelp or TripAdvisor ratings, so I quote none of them, and I found no ratings for Oakland, Bloomfield, Fox Chapel or North Fayette.
Five Guys and peanut allergies
If you have a peanut allergy, Five Guys is a risky choice. The fries are cooked in 100% peanut oil, and free peanuts sit out in the dining room while you wait (per the official menu and store pages). Talk to the staff before ordering, and read the chain’s US allergen information.

Five Guys vs Burgatory and Primanti Bros.
Five Guys is a reliable, customizable chain burger, but it is not the Pittsburgh burger experience. Local press rankings of the city’s best burgers, such as Pittsburgh Magazine’s, skip Five Guys and pick local names instead.
| Five Guys | Burgatory | Primanti Bros. | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Origin | Arlington, Virginia, 1986 | Pittsburgh | Strip District, Pittsburgh, 1933 |
| Size locally | 5 restaurants | 9 restaurants (early 2024) | Original Strip District shop still open |
| What it is | Build-your-own burgers and fries | Local burger chain | Grilled meat sandwich with fries and coleslaw inside |
Five Guys vs Burgatory vs Primanti Bros.: origin, local footprint and what each serves, to choose between a chain burger and a Pittsburgh classic. (Table: Burger Breton, data from Five Guys, Pittsburgh Magazine and Primanti Bros.)
My take: Five Guys is the fast, familiar option when you are downtown or near campus and short on time. If you want a burger chain with Pittsburgh roots, Burgatory is the like-for-like comparison. And go to Primanti Bros. at least once, because nothing on the Five Guys menu tells you where you are. Pittsburgh also gave the world the Big Mac, created in 1967 by local McDonald’s franchisee Jim Delligatti, a story told in our history of the hamburger. The ketchup on your tray has local roots too: Henry J. Heinz launched his tomato ketchup here in 1876.

Five Guys: a quick history
Five Guys was founded in 1986 in Arlington, Virginia, by Jerry and Janie Murrell as a small takeout counter (Five Guys blog). Forty years later, on September 25, 2026, it opened its 2,000th restaurant at Universal CityWalk in Orlando (QSR Magazine). The chain now operates in 30 countries.
