Carl's Jr Mexico City: Locations, Hours, Prices
The best Carl's Jr. branch in CDMX, burger prices in pesos, conflicting hours sorted out and what diners say, all checked on October 24, 2026.

The Carl’s Jr. to pick in Mexico City is Glorieta Colón, at Paseo de la Reforma 87 in Col. Tabacalera. It is central and on Metrobús Line 7. With 4.3/5 from 4,256 Google reviews, it is also the best-rated branch I found. A Famous Star con Queso costs 146 MXN there on Rappi. The hours are less clear: sources split between 9 am–10 pm and 8:30 am–9 pm. Directories count about forty Carl’s Jr. branches in CDMX, from Polanco to Coyoacán and Lindavista. I checked every address, price and rating below on October 24, 2026.
Carl’s Jr Mexico City at a glance
Carl’s Jr. has been in Mexico since 1991. For the Reforma branch, here is what holds up, where the sources disagree and the date I checked each fact.

Carl’s Jr Reforma: the best branch for visitors
Carl’s Jr. Glorieta Colón, at Paseo de la Reforma 87, is the branch to choose if you stay in Reforma, Juárez or the Centro. It faces the Columbus roundabout and has the best rating of any branch I checked. It is also one of the few with its own page on carlsjr.com.mx. That matters more than it sounds: for most CDMX branches, the only address on record comes from a directory.
Address and phone
The chain lists the branch as “Carl’s Jr. // Glorieta Colon” at Paseo de la Reforma #87, Col. Tabacalera, CP 06030, Cuauhtémoc, CDMX (carlsjr.com.mx). A directory places it in unit E of number 87 (GPS Data Team).
The official page shows the phone as “55461710”. In full international format that is +52 55 5546 1710, as restaurantesencdmx.com confirms. Wanderlog shows a different number, +52 201 927 5422, which does not match: ignore it.
Carl’s Jr Reforma Mexico City hours
Carl’s Jr. Glorieta Colón opens at 9 am and closes at 10 pm every day according to Rappi and two directories. Wanderlog, sucursales.net and the newspaper Crónica give 8:30 am to 9 pm instead. The chain’s own page publishes no hours at all.
My advice: go between 9 am and 9 pm, when both versions agree. For an early breakfast or a late dinner, check Google Maps on the day.
Getting there by Metrobús
The Metrobús Line 7 (Indios Verdes–Reforma) stop at the roundabout is in front of the restaurant. It opened as Glorieta de Colón (Chilango) and was signed Amajac by December 2023, so look for either name. Line 7 runs along Reforma, which makes the branch easy to reach from the Ángel de la Independencia or the Centro. I could not confirm parking, accessibility, Wi-Fi or accepted payment methods from a reliable source.

Hours come from Crónica’s September 30, 2026 list, sucursales.net, Yelp and TripAdvisor. Crónica names its branches by area, not by street address, so I matched them to addresses only where the area is the same. The La Raza branch has its own official page, with phone +52 55 2121 8615 (carlsjr.com.mx).

Is there a 24-hour Carl’s Jr. in Mexico City?
No 24-hour Carl’s Jr. is confirmed in Mexico City. Most CDMX branches open at 9 or 10 am and close around 10 pm, according to Crónica’s list. The known 24-hour branches are in Nuevo León and Puebla, and only from Thursday to Saturday (InformaBTL). For a late bite, Liverpool Zona Rosa is reported open until midnight, the latest closing time I found.

Carl’s Jr Mexico City menu prices in pesos
A Carl’s Jr. burger at Reforma 87 costs between 138 and 263 MXN on Rappi, and a combo between 193 and 303 MXN. These are delivery prices, checked October 24, 2026. Counter prices are lower, but the chain does not publish them.

Combo prices
Combos at Reforma 87 on Rappi cost 193 MXN for the Happy Star, 239 MXN for the Famous Star con Queso, 279 MXN for the Western Bacon Cheeseburger and 303 MXN for the Original BigAngus. A “Combo GOL” is listed at 246.67 MXN.
In-store prices vs delivery prices
Ordering at the counter is cheaper than Rappi. An unofficial aggregator puts the Famous Star con Queso at 101 MXN alone and 220 MXN as a combo nationwide (fastfoodsmenu.com). The food blog Smoochfood paid 163 MXN for a Famous Star combo and 196 MXN for a Chargrilled Santa Fe Chicken combo at a CDMX branch on July 19, 2026, without naming which one (Smoochfood). The two sources disagree by almost 60 pesos on the combo, so I treat the aggregator as a rough guide, not a price list.
Famous Star con Queso price in Mexico City, counter vs delivery (MXN, 2026): 101 alone and 220 combo in store (unofficial aggregator), 146 and 239 on Rappi at Reforma 87, 163 combo paid by Smoochfood at an unnamed CDMX branch in July 2026. Comparing with prices at home? Use counter prices. Rappi prices carry the delivery markup.
What’s on the Carl’s Jr. Mexico menu
The Mexican menu keeps the US charbroiled classics and adds its own items. The official site lists the Famous Star, Super Star, Double Western Bacon, The Big Carl, the Big Angus range (Guacamole Bacon, Portobello Mushroom, Low Carb), a Jalapeño Burger and a Teriyaki Burger (carlsjr.com.mx).
Sides include fries, CrissCut fries and onion rings. There is also chicken, salads, OREO shakes and desserts. The Famous Star con Queso has 670 calories, 28 g of protein and 57 g of carbs, according to the chain.

Mexico-only burgers: Happy Star and El Diablo
The Happy Star Burger, the El Diablo Burger and the Combo GOL appear on Rappi at Reforma 87 but not on the official menu. Treat them as items that may come and go, not as permanent fixtures. Reviewers at Reforma 87 single out the onion rings and the poppers, chiles stuffed with cheese (Wanderlog).
Breakfast at Carl’s Jr. Mexico City
Carl’s Jr. Mexico serves breakfast: The Breakfast Burger, burritos, hash browns and pancakes are on the official menu. At Reforma 87, every source has the branch open by 9 am, so that is the safe time to show up.
Vegetarian options
The Veggie Star is the vegetarian burger at Carl’s Jr. Mexico City, at 143 MXN on Rappi at Reforma 87. The official menu also lists a Low Carb burger and salads.
Want the Famous Star at home? My colleague Alice rebuilt it in our Carl’s Jr. Famous Star copycat recipe.
Carl’s Jr Mexico City reviews
Carl’s Jr. Glorieta Colón rates 4.3/5 on Google from 4,256 reviews and 3.5/5 on TripAdvisor from 62 reviews, according to Wanderlog, checked October 24, 2026. On Rappi, the Tabacalera branch rates 4.1/5 from 106 reviews. I have not eaten at this branch, so I give no rating of my own: this is a summary of what diners report.

What diners like
Diners describe tasty burgers that are “a bit pricier but worth it”, friendly staff and a clean dining room. Several mention the upstairs seating with a view over the roundabout traffic. A typical visit lasts about 30 minutes (Wanderlog).
What diners criticize
The recurring complaints are missing items in Uber Eats delivery orders, uneven cleanliness and an inconsistent experience from one visit to the next. Smoochfood’s July 2026 verdict at an unnamed CDMX branch was blunter: fairly mediocre burgers, excellent sides.
Carl’s Jr. delivery in Mexico City
You can order Carl’s Jr. in Mexico City on Rappi and Uber Eats. Rappi lists the Tabacalera branch with delivery from 9 am to 10 pm daily. I found no official app or online ordering on carlsjr.com.mx. There are no reservations either, which a fast-food counter does not take.
Expect to pay more on delivery: 146 MXN for a Famous Star con Queso on Rappi against about 101 MXN at the counter, according to an unofficial aggregator. Check your bag before the rider leaves, since missing items are the top delivery complaint.
Carl’s Jr. promotions in Mexico: 35 pesos and Burger Day
Carl’s Jr. Mexico runs two big yearly promotions on the Famous Star con Queso. On September 30, 2026, for its 35 years in Mexico, the burger sold for 35 MXN on its own, not in a combo, at participating branches; airports and Mérida’s Galerías Campeche were excluded (Crónica; Expansión).
On Burger Day, May 28, 2026, the Famous Star con Queso cost 1 peso with the purchase of a combo (Luz Noticias).
Carl’s Jr. in Mexico: history and local operator
Mexico was Carl’s Jr.’s first market outside the United States. The chain opened its first Mexican restaurant in 1991 in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, near Monterrey (Milenio).
It opened its 400th Mexican restaurant in Tampico on December 3, 2024, and sells more than 200,000 burgers a day in the country (PR Newswire). Grupo AFAL is the largest franchisee, with its 100th restaurant in Ensenada in June 2024, but it operates in the northwest, not in Mexico City.
In July 2016, Taco Holding, backed by the fund Nexxus Capital, bought the Carl’s Jr. master franchise for Mexico City. The deal covered 25 restaurants in the capital and its metro area and made Taco Holding one of the brand’s three largest operators in Mexico (InformaBTL). I found no 2025–2026 source confirming who runs the CDMX branches today.
Carl’s Jr. in Mexico timeline: first restaurant in San Pedro Garza García (1991), Taco Holding buys the Mexico City master franchise with 25 restaurants (July 2016), Grupo AFAL’s 100th unit (June 2024), 400th Mexican restaurant in Tampico (December 3, 2024), 35 years in Mexico (September 2026). Which Carl’s Jr. should you choose in Mexico City?
Choose Glorieta Colón at Reforma 87 if you are staying in the center: it is on Metrobús Line 7, it has the best Google score and the chain confirms its address. Pick Polanco (Av. Homero 109) or Coyoacán (Miguel Ángel de Quevedo 643) if you are exploring those neighborhoods, and Liverpool Zona Rosa if you need a burger close to midnight.
My view: Carl’s Jr. is a dependable fast-food stop, not the high point of a burger trip to CDMX. If you go, order at the counter, not on Rappi, where the same Famous Star costs about 45 pesos more. Add the onion rings that Reforma 87 reviewers keep praising. Then save your appetite for the independent burger bars: start with our best burgers in Mexico City and our Mexico City burger guide. Heading to the coast? Our Carl’s Jr. Cancún guide covers the branches there the same way.
