Burger Singh: History, Key Facts and Reviews
Burger Singh is an Indian burger chain built on Indian flavors, from Amritsari Murgh Makhani to mutton burgers. Kabir Jeet Singh founded it in Gurugram, near Delhi, in 2014. Run by Tipping Mr Pink Private Limited from New Delhi, it grows mostly through franchises in mid-sized cities. In October 2026 the brand claimed more than 200 stores in over 100 Indian cities, and it also has a small presence in London.
History of Burger Singh
2014: desi burgers tested in Gurugram
Burger Singh started in 2014 in Gurugram, the business hub next to Delhi, with one idea: a burger that tastes Indian (MenaFN). Founder and CEO Kabir Jeet Singh says the team first tried its recipes on itself, on friends and on random strangers before opening (Burger Singh). The company behind the brand, Tipping Mr Pink Private Limited, is registered in Connaught Place, New Delhi. The menu borrows from regional dishes: the Amritsari Murgh Makhani, the Bihari Gosht mutton burger, the Udta Punjab meal, Dilli 6 fries and a masala drink called Gulabo. Our guide to the best burgers in New Delhi lists it as the address for Indian-style burgers.
2015-2024: franchises from Delhi NCR to Kolkata and London
Burger Singh grew through franchising, spreading from Delhi NCR to other states. In September 2023 it had four outlets in Kolkata, a dine-in on Park Street and three delivery kitchens in Barasat, Jadavpur and Chinar Park, and planned 15 more in the city plus 34 across West Bengal (Restaurant India). It now competes there with Burger King, as our Burger King Kolkata guide explains. In July 2024 it opened its first airport outlet, in Raipur (BusinessLine). The brand also crossed to the United Kingdom, where it ran three outlets and a food truck in London by November 2025 (MenaFN).
2025-2026: south India, Series B and 200 stores
Burger Singh entered south India in 2025. In March it opened its first Bengaluru outlet in HSR Layout, with more than 175 outlets nationwide and a plan for 100 in Karnataka (SiliconIndia). By November 2025 it counted more than 180 outlets in over 80 cities and served over 3,300 free meals in one day across three Bengaluru outlets (The Tribune). In March 2026 it raised Rs 82 crore in a Series B round led by Singapore’s Artal Asia, at a valuation of Rs 520 crore (YourStory). Its franchise page now claims more than 200 stores in over 100 cities and a target of 1,000 stores by 2028-2030 (Burger Singh).

Burger Singh's Trustpilot page holds very few reviews, and they pull in opposite directions. One customer praises good food that arrived on time; another complains about poor service and staff who behaved badly. That split matches what you would expect from a fast-growing franchise network: the Indian-spiced recipes win approval, while the experience depends on each outlet and its team. With so small a sample, the score is an early signal, not a verdict.
