If you want a Whataburger in Dallas at any hour, go to No. 728 Haskell & Capitol, 2428 N Haskell Ave. It is the only central Dallas location where the dining room and the drive-thru both stay open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The official locator lists 21 Whataburgers under Dallas, two of them in the DFW airport ZIP code. Flying out? Love Field has a dine-in Whataburger inside the terminal, and DFW has one in Terminal D at gate D17. I checked every address, phone number and hour below against the official Whataburger locator on October 20, 2026.

Best Whataburger in Dallas: No. 728 Haskell & Capitol

No. 728 at 2428 N Haskell Ave is my pick for one reason: you can sit down inside at any hour. Greenville Ave and Lemmon Ave, the two other central locations I compared, close their dining rooms at midnight and serve only through the drive-thru until 6 a.m. Haskell keeps both open around the clock. That matters more than it sounds. Arrive by rideshare after a red-eye, or on foot after a night out, and you have no car window to order from. At 3 a.m., a dining room that is still open is the only way you get a burger.

What the reviews say about Haskell

Haskell is one of the most reviewed Whataburgers in Dallas: 259 reviews on Yelp as of July 2026. Yelp blocked my access to the star rating itself, and I am not going to print a number I could not read. If speed of service matters to you, skim the latest Yelp reviews before you go.

Alternatives: Greenville Ave and Lemmon Ave

No. 559 on Greenville Ave and No. 176 on Lemmon Ave are my second choices. Their drive-thrus run 24/7, but their dining rooms close at midnight. After 12 a.m. you eat in the car, or you drive to Haskell.

No. 559 Greenville & Caruth Haven

No. 559 is on Greenville Avenue at Caruth Haven Lane, well north of the Lower Greenville bar strip, so it is not a walk from those bars.

No. 176 at 5500 Lemmon Ave is the closest of the three to Love Field, and its hours match Greenville’s. It is the one I would stop at on the way to a flight.

Whataburger at Dallas airports: Love Field and DFW

Yes, you can eat Whataburger before a flight in Dallas. There is one inside the Love Field terminal and one at DFW Terminal D, gate D17. Both are inside the terminals, so neither has a drive-thru, and the D17 counter sits at a gate, past security.

Whataburger Dallas Love Field (No. 1039)

The Love Field Whataburger is dine-in only, inside the airport at 8008 Cedar Springs Road, Dallas, TX 75235, phone (214) 654-0914. Its official store page says 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Sunday. The summary on the locator’s Dallas list, though, says ‘closed weekends’. One of the two is wrong and I could not tell which, so call before a Saturday or Sunday flight.

The location closed in January 2025 during terminal works and reopened on September 9, 2025, in the main food court, with ordering kiosks. Gilbert Aranza of Star Concessions told People Newspapers that travelers can now order and head to their gate ‘in under eight minutes’, compared with about 15 minutes before. Whataburger at DFW Airport: Terminal D, gate D17 (No. 1235)

At DFW International Airport, the Whataburger listed under Dallas is in Terminal D, the international terminal, at gate D17, phone (469) 457-0690. It opened on April 23, 2022, run by franchisee Gilbert Aranza, according to CultureMap Dallas and Fox 4. The locator raises the same weekend doubt as at Love Field, so I am not publishing its hours. Call the store. Yelp lists 36 reviews (June 2026).

Terminal E and Terminal B at DFW

DFW has had a Whataburger in Terminal E since 2019, according to the same 2022 reports. It does not appear on the Dallas locator, and I could not confirm its current status. A third DFW location was planned for Terminal B, at 2141 South International Parkway: 3,102 sq ft, operated by Star Concessions, with works scheduled from December 8, 2025, to June 5, 2026, per a state filing reported by WhatNow Dallas. I could not confirm that it has opened.

No. 786 Hwy 114 & Freeport, near DFW

No. 786 at 2900 N. Airfield Drive, Dallas, TX 75261, phone (972) 574-2235, is in the airport area but outside the terminals. It is a regular roadside Whataburger with a drive-thru, so it works on the drive in, not once you are past security.

• Drive-thru: Monday to Thursday 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5 a.m. to midnight, Sunday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Which Dallas Whataburger to choose by time and place

Pick by the hour first. After midnight, only some Dallas Whataburgers keep a dining room open, while many keep just the drive-thru running. The key locations:

The official locator lists 21 Whataburgers under ‘Dallas, TX’, and Tasting Table’s April 2026 count, built on ScrapeHero data, comes to the same 21. Going through the list taught me one thing. The hours in the locator’s summary can describe a single service, dining room or drive-thru, so a ‘24 h’ line does not promise a 24-hour dining room. Open the store page before a late-night trip.

Of the 21 on the official locator, 11 run around the clock every day (at least the drive-thru), 7 only on weekends, and 3 are in the airport area with shorter hours (checked October 20, 2026). Whataburger Dallas menu: what to order

For a first visit, order the classic Whataburger: lettuce, three tomato slices, four pickle slices, chopped onions and mustard. Mustard, not mayonnaise, is the default, and I would try it as built before customizing anything. Founder Harmon Dobson wanted a burger so big it took two hands to hold, and the classic still follows that idea. The menu also lists the Whataburger Jr., the Triple Meat, the Bacon & Cheese Whataburger, the Justaburger, the Whatachick’n and breakfast biscuits (source: Wikipedia).

The Haskell and Greenville store pages say they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, with burgers, chicken sandwiches, biscuits and pancakes, and that you earn loyalty points through the Whataburger app or website. No official source gave me breakfast hours for Dallas, so I am not quoting any.

Whataburger prices in Dallas in 2026

The only Whataburger prices I can source for 2026 are those of the national Whatadeal value menu: $3, $4 and $5 items, launched on January 6, 2026, at participating locations. Whataburger’s online menu shows local prices only after you pick a store, and delivery apps add a markup. I could not verify a single Dallas price, and I would rather give you none than a wrong one.

Source: Newsweek, checked October 20, 2026. The offer was announced as limited time with no end date, and I could not confirm it is still running in Dallas. For its 76th birthday in August 2026, Whataburger sold items for 76 cents, according to The Dallas Morning News; that deal has ended.

Review data for Dallas Whataburgers is thin. TripAdvisor gives 4.1/5 to No. 708 on N Central Expressway and 3.8/5 to No. 1024 on Montfort Rd, and I could not read star ratings for the other locations. Both TripAdvisor figures come from search results on October 20, 2026, because TripAdvisor and Yelp blocked direct access.

• No. 1024, 15255 Montfort Rd: 3.8/5 on TripAdvisor. Reviews from June 2026 praise friendly staff, cleanliness and food ‘fresh, hot and made to order’, the warmest recent TripAdvisor comments I found in North Dallas.
• No. 604, 3710 W Northwest Hwy: ranked No. 942 of 2,425 restaurants in Dallas on TripAdvisor.
• Most reviewed on Yelp: Love Field (298 reviews), Haskell (259), Greenville (156), Dallas Pkwy (102), Forest Ln (93), N Airfield Dr (60), DFW D17 (36).

Whataburger history: why Texas loves it

Whataburger is a homegrown Texas chain that stays open late, and the state legislature has gone as far as honoring it. In 2001, the Texas House of Representatives declared Whataburger a ‘Texas Treasure’ in H.R. 723.
