Burgerim Tel Aviv: Address, Menu, Prices and Hours (2026)
Burgerim is still open in Tel Aviv despite the US collapse: two kosher branches, shekel prices, menu and Carlebach hours checked October 7, 2026.

Yes, Burgerim is still open in Tel Aviv. The official branch list names two locations: Burgerim Carlebach at 25 Carlebach Street and Burgerim Tel Aviv University at 20 Dr. George S. Wise Street. Carlebach is a kosher meat restaurant certified by the Tel Aviv Rabbinate. It runs Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 am to 10:30 pm, and closes for Shabbat. A two-mini-burger combo with a side costs ₪58 on its delivery menu. I checked all of this on October 7, 2026.
The US Burgerim franchise collapsed around September 2024. That collapse never reached the Israeli chain, which belongs to the BBB group and still lists 46 branches across the country. Below: both Tel Aviv addresses, the menu, dated prices in shekels, the review scores and my take on whether it is worth ordering, each figure with its source.
Burgerim Tel Aviv at a glance
Burgerim Tel Aviv has two branches on the official list, and Carlebach 25 is the one most visitors will use.

Is Burgerim still open? Israel vs. the US collapse
Burgerim is still open in Israel: only the American franchise went under, and the Israeli chain kept trading.
The confusion is understandable. Search for Burgerim and Wikipedia mostly tells the US story. According to Wikipedia, Oren Loni bought the US rights and moved to Los Angeles in June 2015. The first US restaurant opened in 2016, and the brand passed 200 US locations in 2019.
A Burgerim franchise in Midtown Miami, photographed in January 2023. The US network collapsed around September 2024, but the Israeli chain in Tel Aviv kept trading. Then it fell apart. The FTC sued in 2022, alleging that of roughly 1,500 franchises sold, only 112 were operating. In 2024, Loni accepted a lifetime ban on selling franchises. The US company disappeared around September 2024.
Bar chart of the Burgerim US franchise collapse: about 1,500 franchises sold against only 112 operating when the FTC sued in 2022. (Chart: Burger Breton, data from FTC v. Burgerim as summarized by Wikipedia (text CC BY-SA 4.0))
The Israeli chain is a separate business. Its official branch list shows 46 locations, from Kiryat Shmona in the north to Eilat in the south. Most are kosher. Three are not: the Eilat promenade branch (open on Shabbat), Daliyat al-Karmel and Nazareth.
Who owns Burgerim in Israel?
Burgerim in Israel is part of the BBB group, the company behind BBB and Moses.
Israeli business press reported that BBB bought Burgerim in August 2014, and that by early 2015 the group ran 94 outlets, 58 of them Burgerim. I could only confirm those figures through search summaries of Calcalist and Globes, so treat them as reported, not settled.
The later chapter is solid. On January 25, 2021, fuel group Dor Alon bought 50% of BBB at a ₪150 million valuation, according to Globes. At the time BBB ran about 100 franchised restaurants under the BBB, Moses, Burgerim, Moses Shop and Meat Deli brands, with more than ₪500 million in annual revenue.
The name itself is a small joke: burger plus -im, the Hebrew plural ending.
Burgerim Carlebach: address, hours and kosher status
Burgerim Carlebach is at 25 Carlebach Street, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, and is open Sunday to Thursday from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm.
Those hours come from the branch’s Mishlohim delivery page and match Dapei Zahav and the easy.co.il listing. All three list it as closed on Friday and Saturday. Other listings disagree: Tripadvisor shows Saturday 8 pm to 11 pm, and one local site lists Friday and Saturday 10:30 am to 10:30 pm. I am not publishing a Saturday-night slot I cannot confirm. Assume it is closed for Shabbat and call or check the app before a Saturday evening trip.
The kosher status is the firmest fact on this page. The Tel Aviv-Jaffa Religious Council lists Burgerim Carlebach as a meat restaurant under regular kashrut (kashrut regila), with a certificate valid until April 20, 2027. Check the certificate on the Rabbinate site.
I am not printing a phone number for Carlebach. The official branch list gives 077-343-3035, Dapei Zahav gives 053-943-9446 and easy.co.il gives 052-384-8126. Until the branch page on iburgerim.co.il confirms one, use the delivery app or walk in.
Some details come only from secondary sources, so I flag them as reported:
- Seating: a 2013 opening report describes about 60 m² with a dining room and a terrace.
- Wheelchair access: shown by an accessibility icon on Dapei Zahav.
- Wi-Fi and parking: listed on Tripadvisor.
- Services: Dapei Zahav shows dine-in, delivery and corporate catering.

Burgerim Tel Aviv University (Ramat Aviv)
The second branch sits on the Tel Aviv University campus at 20 Dr. George S. Wise Street, phone 03-676-9717.
It appears on the official branch list as kosher, and Rest.co.il updated its listing on April 6, 2026. Enjoying Israel reports on-site parking and a menu of mini-burgers, thick-cut fries, chicken wings, salads and chicken sandwiches.

Its hours are a mess across sources. Easy.co.il says Sunday to Thursday 11 am to 11 pm, closed on weekends. Enjoying Israel says 11 am to midnight, plus Saturday from 30 minutes after Shabbat ends until 11 pm. I also could not confirm whether it stays open during university breaks, or its exact kashrut level. Phone before you go.
What about Herzl 7 in Neve Tzedek?
Tripadvisor still lists a Burgerim at 7 Herzl Street in Neve Tzedek, but it is not on the official branch list. It has no reviews and no hours. Do not plan a trip around it.
Burgerim Tel Aviv menu: the mini-burger concept
Burgerim sells mini-burgers of about 80 g each, in combos of 2, 3, 8 or 16, and you pick the patty for each one.
That is the whole point of the place. Instead of one big burger, you build a small tasting flight. At Carlebach, the Mishlohim menu lists five patties:
- Beef
- Beef and lamb blend
- Plant-based vegan burger
- Marinated chicken breast
- Pulled asado with caramelized onions
Sides on the combos are fries, spicy fries, onion rings, a fries-and-rings mix, tabbouleh or Israeli salad. For a first order I would take the three-burger combo with beef, the beef-lamb blend and the asado. That gets you a plain patty, a fattier blend and a slow-cooked meat in one box, and leaves chicken and the vegan patty for next time.
Is there a cheeseburger at Burgerim Tel Aviv?
No. Carlebach is a kosher meat restaurant, and kosher rules forbid serving cheese with meat, so none of its patties come with cheese. The same rule holds at every kosher meat restaurant in the city, as our guide to kosher and non-kosher burgers in Tel Aviv explains. If melted cheese is non-negotiable, you need a non-kosher place.
Vegetarian and vegan options
The plant-based vegan patty is the main meat-free option, and you can swap it into any combo. Israeli salad, tabbouleh, fries, sweet potato fries and crispy cauliflower round it out.
Burgerim Tel Aviv prices (October 2026)

Burgerim Tel Aviv prices on the Carlebach delivery menu, October 7, 2026, in shekels: 2 mini-burgers + side ₪58, 3 + side ₪74, 8 + 2 sides ₪184, Big Burger meal ₪61, plus the extra sides. Source: Mishlohim delivery menu for Burgerim Carlebach, checked October 7, 2026. These are delivery prices; dine-in prices may differ, and I could not verify them. Wolt also lists Burgerim at different prices, but I could not tell which Tel Aviv branch those apply to, so I left them out.
If you are ordering for three or more people, go straight to the eight-burger combo. It works out to ₪23 per burger including two sides, against ₪29 per burger in the two-burger combo. For how that compares with other chains this year, see our breakdown of burger chain prices in 2026.
Price per mini-burger at Burgerim Tel Aviv by combo size, sides included: ₪29 in the 2-burger combo, about ₪24.70 in the 3-burger combo and ₪23 in the 8-burger combo (Carlebach delivery menu, October 7, 2026). Burgerim Tel Aviv delivery: Mishlohim and Wolt
Burgerim Carlebach delivers through Mishlohim, with a ₪50 minimum order, a ₪25 delivery fee and an estimated 60-minute wait.
Mishlohim takes card payment only for this branch. The delivery hours are the same as the opening hours: Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 am to 10:30 pm. Burgerim is also on Wolt, but I could not confirm which Tel Aviv branch serves which area there.
Tip for app searches: local platforms index the brand in Hebrew. Search for בורגרים (Burgerim) or בורגרים קרליבך (Burgerim Carlebach) if the English name returns nothing.
Burgerim Tel Aviv reviews: what diners say
Burgerim Tel Aviv has few reviews and middling scores: 3.5/5 from 119 delivery reviews on Mishlohim is the most useful number.
| Platform | Branch | Rating | Reviews | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mishlohim | Carlebach (delivery) | 3.5/5 | 119 | Largest sample |
| Tripadvisor | Carlebach | 4.0/5 | 4 | Latest review August 2019 |
| Dapei Zahav | Ramat Aviv (university) | 4.5/5 | 2 | Too few to judge |
| Dapei Zahav | Carlebach | None | 0 |
Burgerim Tel Aviv reviews by platform, October 7, 2026: Mishlohim 3.5/5 (119 reviews), Tripadvisor 4.0/5 (4 reviews, latest August 2019), Dapei Zahav 4.5/5 for Ramat Aviv (2 reviews), and no rating yet for Carlebach on Dapei Zahav. (Table: Burger Breton, data from Mishlohim, Tripadvisor and Dapei Zahav (facts, no license required))
All ratings checked October 7, 2026. I did not consult Google Maps ratings, so none appear here.
Burgerim Tel Aviv ratings compared with their number of reviews: only Mishlohim (3.5/5, 119 reviews) has a meaningful sample, while Tripadvisor (4 reviews) and Dapei Zahav (2 reviews) are too small to judge. Spec: horizontal bars, ratings out of 5, with review counts labeled. Local SVG at src/assets/restaurants-tel-aviv-burgerim/burgerim-tel-aviv-ratings-by-platform.svg, 800×400. The most recent Tripadvisor review, from August 2019, gave 2/5. It described a place geared mainly to delivery and criticized the cleanliness, the food and the service. One review from seven years ago is not a verdict on today’s kitchen, but it is the only written dine-in feedback I found in English.
Verdict: is Burgerim Tel Aviv worth it?
Burgerim Tel Aviv is worth it if you want a certified kosher meat burger you can share and sample, not if you want the best burger in the city.
What works: the kosher certificate is verifiable, the mini-burger format lets a group taste five patties in one order, and at ₪23 a burger the eight-burger combo is fair value. What doesn’t: a 3.5/5 delivery score from 119 reviews, almost no recent dine-in feedback, and listings that cannot agree on a phone number or weekend hours.
That last point bothers me most. A chain that has run Carlebach since 2013 should be able to publish one working phone number.
My take: order Burgerim for a weekday kosher group meal, and don’t cross town for it. For a broader view of the city, start with our Tel Aviv burger city page or browse every city on the Burger Breton restaurants hub.
How I built this page: I have not eaten at either branch for this guide, so I give no star rating of my own. Instead I cross-checked the official branch list, the Tel Aviv Rabbinate kosher database, the Carlebach delivery menu and five listing and review sites, and I left out every fact that two sources contradicted. All data was verified on October 7, 2026.
A short history of Burgerim in Tel Aviv
Burgerim opened three Tel Aviv branches at once in April 2013, and only Carlebach 25 survives from that wave.
According to an April 3, 2013 report by EATI, the chain opened Carlebach 25 (about 60 m²), Rivel 13 (about 100 m²) and 24 Raoul Wallenberg in Ramat HaHayal (about 130 m²), for a total investment of about ₪2.2 million. Rivel and Wallenberg no longer appear on the official branch list.
The founding year is disputed. Israeli sources say 2008, while Wikipedia gives 2011, which clashes with the 2013 report already describing an expanding chain. I am not stating either until a primary source settles it.
