Grill'd Sydney: 25 Restaurants, Menu and Prices
All 25 Grill'd restaurants in Sydney: addresses, Saturday hours, menu prices in A$, diner ratings and which CBD branch to pick.

Grill’d has 25 restaurants in Greater Sydney, by my count from the chain’s official list of 37 New South Wales sites, checked on 9 October 2026. If you only try one, make it Grill’d World Square at 58/680 George St in the CBD. It is confirmed open, it serves from 10:30 am to 10 pm on Saturdays, and its 1,122 Google reviews (4.2/5) are the biggest sample of the two Sydney branches whose ratings I could verify. Want a table you can book? Go to Grill’d Barangaroo, the newest CBD branch. A burger costs about A$14.50 to A$18.90, based on national average prices.
This guide is part of our Sydney burger city guide, filed under the Burger Breton restaurants section. If you are also heading to the capital, I covered the same chain in Grill’d Canberra: all 5 restaurants, menu and prices.
How I checked this guide
Every address, phone number and opening time below comes from the official Grill’d restaurant pages, checked on 9 October 2026. Ratings come from Wanderlog, which aggregates Google and TripAdvisor scores, because I could not open TripAdvisor or Google Maps directly. Prices come from menuprices.com.au, updated 9 August 2026. They are national averages, not prices I paid in Sydney. Where a source was missing or contradicted another, I left the fact out and said so.
Grill’d Sydney addresses: all 25 restaurants
Grill’d lists 37 restaurants in New South Wales on its official site (grilld.com.au/restaurants), and 25 of them are in Greater Sydney. That count is mine: Macarthur Square (Campbelltown), Narellan and Penrith sit on the outer edge of the metro area, and I included them. The official pages only show the current day’s hours, so the hours below are Saturday hours, Sydney time.

Two official addresses contain errors, and I corrected both in the table. The Baulkham Hills page gives the postcode 1755, which belongs to no Baulkham Hills street address, so I left it out. The Top Ryde page spells the street “Blaxand Road”. It is Blaxland Road.

Grill’d in the Sydney CBD: World Square, Barangaroo and Galeries
Three Grill’d restaurants sit in the Sydney CBD: World Square and Galeries on George St, and Barangaroo on the harbour side. My advice is simple. Go to World Square for a quick meal and Barangaroo when you want a guaranteed table, and phone Galeries before walking there.
Grill’d World Square: the most reviewed CBD branch
Grill’d World Square is at World Square Shopping Centre, 58/680 George St, Sydney NSW 2000, phone +61 2 9261 4900. It opens 10:30 am to 10 pm on Saturdays. The official page lists Pick Up, delivery and catering, with catering orders placed before 5 pm for pick-up the next day (official page).
It scores 4.2/5 on Google from 1,122 reviews and 4.0/5 on TripAdvisor from 273 reviews (Wanderlog). Of the two Sydney branches with ratings I could verify, that is the larger sample by far. Diners come back to the same points: the original burgers, the sweet potato chips, friendly staff, a clean dining room. The complaints repeat too. Service is slow at peak times, and the gluten-free buns come out over-toasted.

Grill’d Barangaroo: the newest CBD branch, with table bookings
Grill’d Barangaroo, officially “Grill’d Burgers Barangaroo”, is at 6/25-31 Barangaroo Ave, Barangaroo NSW 2000, phone +61 2 7262 0250. It opens 10:30 am to 10 pm on Saturdays. It is one of the few Sydney branches where you can book a dine-in table online, and the only one in the CBD. It also takes group bookings and offers Pick Up, delivery and catering (official page).
It opened on Thursday 2 October 2025. The first 754 customers got a free burger, and burgers were A$10 on the opening Thursday and Friday. Founder Simon Crowe called it an addition to “our Sydney CBD restaurant stable” (realcommercial.com.au).

Grill’d Galeries: call before you go
Grill’d Galeries is at The Galeries, Level 1, 500 George St, Sydney NSW 2000, phone +61 2 9264 9566. It is the one CBD branch I cannot vouch for. On 9 October 2026 the official Grill’d page announced a reopening on “Thursday, October 8th”, with no year. 8 October fell on a Thursday in 2026, so the branch has most likely just reopened, but the Galeries centre website still listed it as “Temporarily Closed”. When open, the centre gives usual hours of 11 am to 10 pm every day, with dine-in, Pick Up, delivery, catering and group bookings (official page, The Galeries). A one-minute call to +61 2 9264 9566 saves you the walk.
Which Grill’d to choose by Sydney neighbourhood
Pick World Square or Barangaroo in the CBD, Bondi Beach after a swim, Darlinghurst Crown St if you are on Oxford Street, Westfield Parramatta in the west and Crows Nest on the North Shore. Here is why, plus a few others worth knowing.
- Bondi Beach: Shop 1 & 2, 89-93 Hall St, on the corner of Hall St and “450m from Bondi Beach”, per the official page. It was announced as the chain’s 166th restaurant in Australia, and three local lifeguards created signature burgers for charities: Live, Learn & Survive, Ocean Heroes and the Waves of Wellness Foundation (QSR Media, Visit Bondi Beach).
- Darlinghurst Crown St: 241 Crown St, “right around the corner from Oxford Street”. It scores 3.9/5 on Google (750 reviews) and 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor (160 reviews). Fans point to fresh ingredients and the Healthy Fried Chicken burger. Critics mention uneven service and incomplete delivery orders, and one diner reported a 30-minute wait and a cold order (Wanderlog). My take: eat in rather than order delivery here.
- Westfield Parramatta: Shop 4069, 159-175 Church St, “only six minutes from Parramatta train station”. The official page lists online ordering, Pick Up, delivery, catering and group bookings.
- Crows Nest: 57 Willoughby Rd. The official page calls it “Our first restaurant in NSW”, and it takes dine-in table bookings.
- Bondi Junction: 9-13 Bronte Rd, recently renovated according to the official page, open until 10:30 pm on Saturdays.
- Broadway: inside Broadway Shopping Centre, a short hop from the CBD, with dine-in and group bookings.
- Blacktown: in May 2023 it became the first halal-certified Grill’d (see the halal question below).
- Top Ryde: the official page mentions outdoor seating on La Piazza.

Grill’d Sydney opening hours
Most Grill’d restaurants in Sydney open at 10:30 am and close at 10 pm on Saturdays. Rouse Hill and Leichhardt stay open until 11 pm. Balgowlah keeps the shortest day, 11:30 am to 9 pm. The official pages only display the current day’s hours, so Saturday is the only day I could verify. Check the restaurant’s page on grilld.com.au for weekday hours before you go.
Grill’d Sydney menu and prices
A Grill’d burger costs about A$14.50 to A$18.90. Add regular chips and a 600 ml Pepsi and the meal comes to A$26.90–A$31.30. These are national average prices from menuprices.com.au (updated 9 August 2026), not prices recorded in Sydney. Prices vary between restaurants, and delivery costs 15 to 30% more.
| Item | Average price (AUD) |
|---|---|
| Simply Grill’d | A$14.50 |
| Garden Goodness (vegetarian) | A$14.90 |
| Beyond Simply Grill’d (plant-based) | A$15.90 |
| Crispy Bacon & Cheese | A$16.90 |
| Mighty Melbourne | A$17.90 |
| Wagyu Wunder | A$18.90 |

Bar chart of Grill’d prices in Australia (A$, national averages, August 2026): Simply Grill’d 14.50, Garden Goodness 14.90, Beyond Simply Grill’d 15.90, Crispy Bacon & Cheese 16.90, Mighty Melbourne 17.90, Wagyu Wunder 18.90, chips 7.50, sweet potato chips 8.90, shake 9.00 (Chart: Burger Breton, data menuprices.com.au (updated 9 August 2026), CC BY 4.0)
What is on the Grill’d menu
The Grill’d menu is built around “Hi Fibre Lo GI” buns, 100% Australian lamb and wagyu specialty burgers, and chicken tenders. The official menu also lists the High Performance range, whose Protein Pro packs 81 g of protein per serving, plus sliders, salads and a kids’ menu (grilld.com.au/menu).
- Healthy Fried Chicken: tenders made with 100% RSPCA-approved chicken, cooked in extra virgin olive oil.
- Wraps, until 5 pm: The Classic, Bacon Club, Cali Green Goddess and Golden Caesar.
- Grill’d x Twisties: a collaboration with the Australian snack brand, with a cheese option for an extra A$2.
- Sides: Famous Grill’d Chips and sweet potato chips, the side World Square reviewers mention most.
There is no Sydney-only item. The menu is the same across Australia. If you order one side, make it the sweet potato chips: at about A$8.90 they cost A$1.40 more than the regular chips, and they are the side diners mention most.
Vegetarian and gluten-free burgers in Sydney
Grill’d is a practical choice for a vegetarian or gluten-free burger in Sydney. Vegetarians can order the Garden Goodness (about A$14.90) or a burger from the Beyond Meat range, such as the Beyond Simply Grill’d (about A$15.90). Gluten-free buns are available, but some World Square reviewers find them over-toasted. Ask for yours lightly toasted.
Grill’d Sydney reviews: what diners say
Grill’d World Square rates 4.2/5 on Google and 4.0/5 on TripAdvisor. Darlinghurst rates 3.9/5 on Google and 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor. These are the only two Sydney branches with ratings I could verify, via Wanderlog. Across both, diners praise the original burgers, fresh ingredients, sweet potato chips and friendly staff. The weak points are service speed at busy times and the accuracy of delivery orders.
| Restaurant | TripAdvisor | Praised | Criticised | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| World Square | 4.2/5 (1,122 reviews) | 4.0/5 (273 reviews) | Original burgers, sweet potato chips, friendly staff, clean room | Slow service at times, over-toasted gluten-free buns |
| Darlinghurst Crown St | 3.9/5 (750 reviews) | 4.5/5 (160 reviews) | Fresh ingredients, Healthy Fried Chicken | Uneven service, incomplete delivery orders |
Grouped bar chart of Grill’d Sydney ratings: World Square 4.2/5 on Google (1,122 reviews) and 4.0/5 on TripAdvisor (273), Darlinghurst Crown St 3.9/5 on Google (750) and 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor (160), via Wanderlog, 9 October 2026 (Chart: Burger Breton, data Wanderlog (https://wanderlog.com/place/details/1276702 and https://wanderlog.com/place/details/2553784/grilld-darlinghurst), CC BY 4.0)
For the other 23 restaurants I give no rating. I found none I could verify, and a blank is more honest than a guess.
Closed or outdated Grill’d addresses in Sydney
Grill’d Darling Harbour, Surry Hills and Westfield Sydney are not on the official list, even though Time Out Sydney still shows them. Darling Harbour was at Harbourside, 2-10 Darling Drive, a centre closed for redevelopment since 2022. Surry Hills did not close so much as change its name: its address, 241 Crown St, is now the Darlinghurst Crown St restaurant. Westfield Sydney (Level 6, 135 King St) still has an Uber Eats page but is missing from the official list, so I cannot confirm it is open. I found no closing dates for any of them (Time Out Darling Harbour, Time Out Surry Hills, Wikipedia, Darling Harbour).
Grill’d history: the Australian healthy burger chain
Grill’d is an Australian burger chain founded by Simon Crowe on 2 March 2004 in Hawthorn, Melbourne, and sold on the promise of “healthy burgers”. It now runs more than 170 restaurants in Australia, plus one in Seminyak, Bali. Its beef and lamb have been grass-fed and free-range since 2010 and its chicken RSPCA-approved since 2016. Since August 2025 its patties have also been sold in Coles supermarkets (Wikipedia, Dynamic Business).
In Sydney, the chain started in Crows Nest, which it calls its first NSW restaurant, and it now counts 25 sites across the metro area. On 16 June 2026, the ACCC took Grill’d to the Federal Court over its “Tree Day Tuesday” campaign, run with Greenfleet from January 2021 to April 2024. The ACCC alleges that only 17% of sales qualified for a donation. The case is ongoing (The New Daily, Mediaweek).
If Bali is on your itinerary after Sydney, my colleague Hana has covered 2080 Burger, the Sanur burger spot in Denpasar. For another Australian city, see my guide to the best burgers in Perth.

What are Grill’d opening hours in Sydney?
On Saturdays, most Sydney branches open from 10:30 am to 10 pm. Rouse Hill and Leichhardt close at 11 pm, and Balgowlah opens 11:30 am to 9 pm. Each official page only shows weekday hours on the day itself.
How much does a burger cost at Grill’d?
A Grill’d burger costs between A$14.50 (Simply Grill’d) and A$18.90 (Wagyu Wunder), based on national average prices from August 2026. Regular chips add about A$7.50, and delivery costs 15 to 30% more.
Is Grill’d halal?
Since May 2024, Grill’d has served halal meat, except bacon, across all its restaurants, according to Wikipedia and Inside Retail, without certification at each restaurant. Blacktown became the first halal-certified Grill’d in May 2023, with no bacon and no alcohol, but its official page no longer mentions certification. Ask the restaurant if certification matters to you (Inside Retail).

Yes. The official pages of the Sydney restaurants list delivery and Pick Up, and Westfield Parramatta also lists online ordering. Delivery prices run 15 to 30% higher than in-store prices.
Is Grill’d healthier than regular fast food?
Grill’d bases its “healthy burgers” claim on Hi Fibre Lo GI buns, grass-fed free-range beef and lamb, RSPCA-approved chicken and tenders cooked in extra virgin olive oil. It also sells a high-protein range, with 81 g of protein in the Protein Pro. Even so, a wagyu burger with chips and a shake is still a heavy meal. How healthy it is depends on what you order, not on the logo.
