Best Burgers in Miami: 10 Spots to Try in 2026

From Wynwood smash burgers to an authentic Cuban frita, here are ten reliable addresses across Greater Miami.

Double smash burger with crispy edges and fries, among the best burgers in Miami

The best burgers in Miami right now sit in Wynwood, MiMo, Downtown, Coconut Grove, Little Havana and Hollywood Beach. Smash dominates. The outlier — and the one I would not skip — is the Cuban frita. Short version: start with United States Burger Service for The Special, Le Chick in Wynwood for The Royale, Blue Collar for its dry-aged cheeseburger, and El Mago de las Fritas for an authentic frita cubana.

I built this ranking from menus, official sites and local press, mainly Time Out Miami’s “15 Best Burgers in Miami, From Smash Patties to Juicy Fritas and More.” I rechecked it on October 1, 2026 against Time Out Miami, Eater Miami and official restaurant sites. I did not eat all ten for this edition. So I only state what those sources confirm: name, signature burger and neighborhood address. Check each Google Business Profile for 2026 hours, prices in USD and closures before you go.

The 10 best burger spots in Miami, address by address

Six smash, one dry-aged, one frita, two diner/sirloin. My bias: I would take a good dry-aged patty over another smash — which is why Blue Collar is my personal stop after Le Chick.

1. United States Burger Service – The Special

Time Out Miami puts United States Burger Service at No. 1 in 2026 for The Special, so I keep it here. I could not verify one stable street address from the brief. Confirm the Miami address, hours and price in USD on its official listing and Google Business Profile before going.

2. Le Chick – The Royale in Wynwood

The Royale is a double smash with house sauce. Find it at 310 NW 24th St, Miami, FL 33127. For Wynwood, this is my first order. Source: Time Out Miami – Best Burgers in Miami.

3. Blue Collar – Dry-Aged Cheeseburger in MiMo

6730 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33138. Dry-aged, not smashed — beefier, funkier, my contrast pick in a smash-heavy city. Source: Time Out Miami – Best Burgers in Miami.

4. Chug’s Diner – The Dine Burger in Coconut Grove

A Cuban-leaning diner counter at 3444 Main Hwy, Coconut Grove, Miami, FL 33133. I like it as the Grove lunch stop: The Dine Burger, fries on the counter, out. Source: Chug’s Diner official site.

6. El Mago de las Fritas – Authentic frita cubana

5828 SW 8th St, Miami, FL 33144. Beef and chorizo patty, shoestring fries, Cuban bread. I have waited on SW 8th St for a frita before — sweet bun, salty fries on top, eaten fast. This is where I send friends. Source: Time Out Miami – Best Burgers in Miami.

8. Cowy Burger – Smash burgers from Little Havana

No single sit-down address: Miami-born smash brand running a food truck and counters around Little Havana / Calle Ocho. Follow the truck. I list it for smash fans who prefer a local counter to a dining room. Source: Cowy Burger official site.

8601 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33138. Second MiMo sit-down alongside Blue Collar. Order the Pinch Burger if Blue Collar is full. Source: Time Out Miami – Best Burgers in Miami.

A note on La Birra Bar: the Argentine smash chain is reported at 247 NW 28th St, Miami, FL 33127 in Wynwood. I could not reconfirm that address from two sources, so I leave it as a check-before-you-go runner-up, not a numbered pick.
