Goody's Thessaloniki: Burgers in Its Home City
No Juicy Grill in Thessaloniki, but Goody's opened its first restaurant here in 1975. Addresses, hours, prices and delivery, checked on 31 October 2026.

If you want a chain burger in Thessaloniki, go to Goody’s Burger House. It is Greece’s largest burger chain, and it started here: the first Goody’s opened in Thessaloniki in 1975. The most central branch is at Tsimiski 15 (Τσιμισκή 15), a few minutes’ walk from Aristotelous Square. Juicy Grill, the name many visitors type into a search bar, has no restaurant in the city. It is an Athens operation.
Is there a Juicy Grill in Thessaloniki?
No. When I checked Juicy Grill’s official website on 31 October 2026, it listed two locations, and neither is in Thessaloniki: Juicy Cholargos at 37 Perikleous Avenue in Cholargos, a northern suburb of Athens, and Juicy Lebanon on Fouad Chehab Street in Jounieh.
Juicy Grill opened in Cholargos in 2011. A downtown Athens branch followed at 7 Paleon Patron Germanou in summer 2021, according to This is Athens. Travel guides still print that address; the official site has dropped it. So if Juicy Grill is the burger you came for, save it for the capital and start from our Athens burger page. In Thessaloniki, the chain to know is Goody’s.
Goody’s Thessaloniki: the burger chain born in the city
Goody’s Burger House is a Greek fast-food chain that opened its first restaurant in Thessaloniki in 1975. Its owner, the Goody’s-Everest group, calls Goody’s the brand that introduced the burger to the Greek public. Wikipedia names the founders as Ioannis Dionisiadis, Achilleas Folias and Nikolaos Pappas.

No source I found gives the address of that first restaurant, and I would rather leave a gap than guess. The point stands anyway: Goody’s was a Thessaloniki business before it was a national one. Eating one here is a bit like having a Whataburger in Texas. It is not the craft option, but it is the one with the hometown claim.

Goody’s leads branded quick-service food in Greece with more than 140 restaurants, according to the Goody’s-Everest group. The group also claims more than 100,000 customers a day, counting restaurants and delivery.

Goody’s Burger House Thessaloniki addresses
I could confirm three Goody’s addresses in Thessaloniki: Tsimiski 15 in the centre, 99 Vasilissis Olgas Avenue, and Komninon kai Soumelas 41 in Kalamaria. Two independent sources each back the first two. Kalamaria rests on Wolt alone, so double-check it before you make the trip. Wolt shows more branches across the city, but I could not match any of them against the official store locator, which did not load when I tried it, so they stay out of the table.

Goody’s Tsimiski 15: the central branch
Tsimiski 15 is the Goody’s most visitors will walk past. It sits on Thessaloniki’s main shopping street, a short walk from Aristotelous Square. Searching in Greek? Locals write Goody’s Τσιμισκή for this branch and Goody’s Θεσσαλονίκη for the whole city.

Thessaloniki’s metro line 1 opened on 30 November 2024 and runs underground through the centre with 13 stations. I could not pin down which station is nearest to Tsimiski 15, so let a maps app plan the last stretch.
Goody’s Vasilissis Olgas 99
Vasilissis Olgas 99 is a sit-down branch on the long avenue that runs south-east from the centre towards Kalamaria. Restaurant Guru lists takeaway, delivery and wheelchair access, and says the branch does not take reservations. That information comes from an aggregator, not from Goody’s, so treat it as a guide only.
Goody’s opening hours in Thessaloniki
Goody’s does not publish opening hours for its Thessaloniki branches anywhere I could read them. The store locator on goodys.com needs JavaScript and showed nothing when I checked, so look it up on the day you go.
Two aggregators fill the gap, and both point to a midnight close. Theloburger.gr gives Tsimiski 15 as open from 12:00 to 00:00 every day; Restaurant Guru gives Vasilissis Olgas 99 as open from 11:00 to 00:00 every day. Neither source is official, and hours can shift with the season.
Goody’s menu and prices
Goody’s builds its burgers on a 100% beef patty from “small farms” (μικρές φάρμες), says its official website. The menu reaches well past burgers: club sandwiches, Buttermilk Chicken Fingers, Share Boxes, wraps, even churros with Nutella.
The Hangover Burger and other signature burgers
The Hangover Burger is the one I would order first. On paper, it is the only Goody’s burger with a clear personality: a fried egg, bacon, melted cheddar, lettuce, mayonnaise and Hellmann’s Original BBQ sauce, as described on goodys.com. Readers also ask about the Cheddar Bacon and the Texas BBQ. I found no official description of either, so their ingredients are not listed here.
How much does a meal at Goody’s cost?
Expect to spend about €5 to €10 per person at Goody’s in Thessaloniki, according to Restaurant Guru’s listing for Vasilissis Olgas 99. Prices for individual burgers in the city are harder to pin down. The figures that circulate online mix a 2020 blog post with delivery menus from other cities. The “Extreme Hangover” at €28 on goodys.com looks like a multi-item deal, not a single burger. Check the live price on Wolt or goodys.com before you order.
Vegetarian and vegan options at Goody’s
Goody’s does label vegan options in other Greek cities. I could not confirm that the Thessaloniki branches carry them. For the Kavala branch, HappyCow lists a burger with a plant-based Garden Gourmet patty (a Nestlé brand), vegan nuggets and a vegan bao. Ask at the counter before you count on them.

You can order Goody’s in Thessaloniki for delivery or takeaway at the counter, on the official website, in the Goody’s app or by phone. The national ordering number is 18365, with 801 1000011 as an alternative, according to goodys.com. The Tsimiski and Kalamaria branches also have delivery pages on Wolt.
Goody’s reviews: is it worth it for a burger fan?
My view: Goody’s is worth one meal in Thessaloniki, and one is probably enough. It is the chain that brought the burger to Greece, and it started in this city. For anyone curious about Greek burger culture, that makes it a better story than McDonald’s. It is still fast food, not a craft burger bar. I am not giving Goody’s a score. We rate only restaurants we have reviewed ourselves. We also quote other sites’ scores only after reading them at the source and noting the date. The only rating I found for Vasilissis Olgas 99 came through an aggregator, not from Google Maps or Tripadvisor directly, and Tsimiski 15 had none at all. For what it is worth, Restaurant Guru’s review summary for Vasilissis Olgas 99 says customers often mention friendly staff and good service.
Goody’s or McDonald’s in Thessaloniki?
Pick Goody’s for the hometown chain and the most central option; pick McDonald’s for the global menu you already know. McDonald’s opened its fourth Thessaloniki restaurant on 18 October 2024 at the Mediterranean Cosmos shopping centre, at kilometre 11 of the Thessaloniki–Nea Moudania road, reports Powergame.gr. It was the chain’s 34th restaurant in Greece.

The Mediterranean Cosmos opening cost €1.4 million, created 40 jobs and came with five self-order kiosks, according to Powergame.gr. As far as I could verify, Burger King has no restaurant in Thessaloniki.
